Yes, of course it objectifies women, but unless hurtful comments are being thrown about, what's the harm? It's silly fun, which is the whole point of this "chit chat forum." Besides, we (women) know that men's tastes vary, so what's hot to one person may not do it for another (and that's great!). :)

Yay for you! :) Love to see this.

I have two English Mastiffs. :) They are the BEST!

Two enormous mastiffs, and I'm currently fostering 4 orphan kittens that are still bottle feeding. It's like having newborns!

I'm curious about the 18 hour fast/6 hour eating. When do you eat, and what is the benefit?
-
Ladylark... The before and after. Amazing!

I get MUCH more out of 2 cardio-heavy and 3 weight-heavy workouts than I do from 5 mostly cardio workouts. The results come faster and are easier to keep. My lifting days are shorter than my cardio days too!

I'm from the US, so forgive my ignorance on the topic. Is Denmark known for nude holidays? The idea intrigues me. I travel to Europe a couple of times a year, so give me some suggestions. :)

You look 10 years younger! Way to go!

I agree 200% Lifting produces amazing results fast, and you will never look big and bulky like you fear. If you hire a trainer, don't let him/her keep you on the machines. Go for those free weights!

Jessica... Love the 'tude! :)

Awe, I love this!

I hear what you are saying, but I don't agree. Happiness is a major source of motivation for me.

Yes! I hated my body for my entire 20's. At 31, I finally love my body. I'm always trying to improvement myself overall, which includes my body, but I never stop loving it.

First of all, congrats on your weight loss! WOW! I was JUST LIKE YOU, except you seem to already like working out more than I did. I'm not athletic and I just couldn't find anything that I enjoyed doing. I finally tried yoga and pilates, both of which I had been avoiding because I didn't think I would get results from…

First of all, congrats on being smaller than you ever have in 10 years! That's amazing! Yes - my body seems to have a weight that it feels most comfortable at. I struggle because I don't like the way I look at that weight, but techincally it is within the "normal" range. Every time I go under it, I feel like I have to eat…

Everyone is different, so it's so hard to predict. Your genes, age, and did I mention genes (ha) play a HUGE part in it. BUT...if you lose weight and exercise you will look incredible and I guarantee you will be pleased with your "new" body even if it doesn't look exactly like someone else's. Good luck, girl!

I second this.

Great job! You look fabulous!

H! Thanks to NaomiJFoster for telling me about this group! I live in NW Tucson, have a great husband, and 3 little girls. I work out regularly and eat (fairly) healthy, but I have had an extra 10-15 that I've been wanting to take off for good for years. I would love to have a workout partner and perhaps get together as a…

I don't think I have a twin! :(

:smooched: Since you aren't her guardian, setting a good example is about all you can do. I would encourage her to try the things you are eating and try to incorporate things like homemade popsicles using 100% juice, etc. There are healthy things even picky kids will eat, but it sure takes some creativity.
