I do use Xbox One Fitness. I'm not much of a gamer though LOL I primarily use it for fitness. I did buy one game though but I haven't spent much time on it yet. My tag is the same one I use here.

I use the strength training in the cardio category and add the actual 25 minutes you're working out. I don't log warm up and cool down but that is personal preference. I love that program, btw.

I only had 1250 calories on Christmas. It didn't help that I was sick all week though. So it wasn't about being good but rather just not feeling like eating!
-
Quite the opposite. Since cutting back the calories and working out regularly I am feeling wonderful. Maybe just give yourself some time to adjust to the changes. The endorphins will raise your spirits!

It is more likely that shes under-reporting. It is the most common problem with plateaus.

My guess is that you're not being truthful to yourself about how many calories you're actually consuming. There is no way you're netting 800-1200 calories and not losing weight. It just isn't possible. Your body will let go of the weight. There is no such thing as a fat anorexic. And that's what you're talking about. Buy a…

I was blaming my lack of weight loss on a plateau and then I started weighing my food instead of measuring. My calories are now in check and the weight is coming off again. I've learned that measuring food isn't good enough and when I got honest then things started changing.
-
There is no way these numbers are correct. You're overestimating your calories burned and underestimating you food intake. Get a scale and start weighing your food. And find a more reliable method for calculating your calories burned.

As a general rule I am happy with the way I look with each pound lost. I have hit times where the skin grossed me out but it always seems to tone up and look more normal. I figure during those phases I look good clothed and not naked but I know I will get there!

Your college is an idiot. The only thing that will make you fat is over eating and not exercising.
-
Any and all exercise will help you burn calories, ie fat. I started doing only cardio and lost 45lbs. I am now shifting to cardio and weight training and am really beginning to see my body change! Don't listen to the naysayers, just get out there and move! You can do it!
-
I have been at this for 9 months and have lost 45lbs. It didn't happen all at once and there were times I fell off of the wagon. Just take it one day at a time or one meal at a time and keep telling yourself you will get there. I have had 2 months now with no weight loss but my body is more toned and I've lost inches. It's…

Get honest with yourself about how much you're actually eating and exercising. Start logging your calories and you'll be surprised at how quickly things add up. Also, most exercise isn't as many calories burned as one would think. Hang in there and you'll start to see results!

I am planning this holiday season. I am eating prior to parties and making sure I get in a good workout that day before going. I'm also fortunate that I'm not a big sweets person. But, I do love my food oh and I'm a stress eater so the holidays are tougher. We're taking a vacation for Christmas this year so hopefully it…

I can feel your pain! I fall off of the wagon quite frequently. I hate myself for doing it when I step back on the scale but I figure as long as I weigh less at the end of this year than I did last then I'm doing ok. Hang in there!
-
I've been loosing 2lb per week on a 1200 calorie daily intake.
-
IMHO diets don't work. Lifestyle changes do.
-
I have the same issue although I'm eating way more than 500 calories per day. For me I hit the wall somewhere between 1000 & 1200. I do eat out occasionally (1 x per week) and usually go over my calories. I figure it all evens out.
-
I drink coffee most every morning. Black. Just because you're dieting doesn't mean you should give up "everything." Just keep a balance.

Does no one use the search button before posting or are they trying to stir things up? ALSO Google is your friend!

Weight loss is a journey that requires small changes over time to create bigger changes. I, for one, disagree with those who go all out and cut everything out all at once or all together. Many people enjoy a cocktail here or there. What's the big deal. Life is still about living it and enjoying the spoils. So if people…

I think the only reason people say it can't be done is because it will take longer to see the scale budge and we're a society of quick fixes and quitters. So if you loose the fat first then you'll see big losses on the scale and hopefully you'll stay motivated. I am living proof that you can do both at the same time. It…

I find myself becoming more and more aware and it's easy to see how things can get out of control.

Oh yeah, and I have learned to watch my portion sizes. I have learned that I do not need to eat a ton of whatever it is that I'm eating :)
-
I am "guilty" of eating the 'not clean' foods as well. I like to eat out and if I know it is a time that I am likely to eat out (on the weekends) then I make damn sure I work out that day. I try to "eat right" all week and splurge on the weekends. I almost always stay under my calorie goal for the day and I am consistently…

I have a friend who had it done. Several things jumped out at me after learning about the process. 1. The restrictive diet that is required post surgery. It seemed to me that if she just followed this to begin with she would have lost the weight on her own. This is where it doesn't make sense to me. 2. She's put back on…

Same thing happened to me. I was out of commission for about a week and I lost 3lbs that week. The only thing I can think of is that I wasn't consuming enough calories with the workouts I was doing. I've scaled back the workouts and increasing my calories. I hope things level off!
-
Most prepackaged foods are so high in sodium that they're not worth it. I would recommend spending a couple of hours each Sunday preparing foods at home for the week.
-
If you're spending more calories than you're consuming then no it isn't possible. I would take a look at your intake and verify that it is not underestimated and change your BMR to sedentary which is probably what it is if you're sick. I'm guessing you'll find that you're exceeding your calories each day.

I am crazy about logging everything. I want to stay on track and it really helps me!
