Yes, they can lead to bone spurs and renal calculi (kidney stones) but don't just take ONE doc's word for it! I encourage my patient's to seek knowledge from legitimate sources ... and to read or listen to more than just one source!

Alcohol calories are not the same as food ... alcohol calories have absolutely no nutritional value. They are called 'empty' calories. Better to eat veggies, lean proteins (beans, legumes, etc) and fresh fruits. Try it just for one month with no alchohol if you can, and you'll lose extra pounds ... believe me :) Good luck!…

I can tell you, as a registered nurse among other things :laugh: that just prior to starting your period and during until about 2-5 days after it ends you may be 2-7 lbs higher than normal due to fluid retention. You can feel more bloated and just plain "UGH" for lack of a better term :) But all will be well in the end…
