Where are you from? I'm guessing across the pond from the reference to stones. There is an amazing team of coaches there called Fitter Food. I love following them. You can find them on Facebook and Instagram. Check them out.

Paleo is not carb specific, it is a way of eating focused on WHAT you eat. Some Paleo people eat a ton of carbs, some very little. Keto is very low carb, so you're nowhere near that. Not sure why a label would need to be put on it really? I agree with the previous poster. At least as compared to the general population,…

Love your dog!

I follow a low carb Primal diet (hence the name, lol)....sometimes Keto, sometimes not. Add me if you like, :)

My 10 year old son loves anime. Weight loss is 80% diet....I know, everyone says that but it's actually true! So, going to the gym is awesome! But I would put an even higher focus on your nutrition.

I take some time and think about my WHY. Why did I start this in the first place? For me, food and exercise feed off one another. If I'm eating well, I'm more likely to also workout. If I'm working out, I'm more likely to eat well. Weight loss can be accomplished without the gym at all, so start with the food. Get it on…

I'm a 48 year old mother of one. Feel free to add me if you like.

As with GrokRockStar (nice name!), my pants are falling off. People keep telling me I look ridiculous because my clothes are so baggy, but I keep putting off buying new ones. The biggest NSV for me would be not having my life revolve around food anymore. If I miss a meal, either by accident or on purpose, life goes on and…

46, 5'2".... Currently at 141, goal is 120-125. My metabolism has slowed a lot since hitting 40. I find I have to work much harder to lose and then maintain. Send me a friend request if you like. pam

46 here, married mom of 1 with about 20lbs to lose. I have to work much harder at it now than I did when I was younger. Could use more support and accountability.

Too much cardio. 7 days a week of cardio is going to end up burning muscle as well as fat. You need to create a better balance between cardio and strength, and increase your protein. You muscles can't grow without adequate protein.

All of them.

I brush my teeth so I won't eat anymore.....but then eat anyway and get pissed that I have to brush again.

Great post. Agree 100%

It has to be all or nothing for me.

Height? Current weight?

Giving up one 32oz diet soda per day will have zero impact on your belly fat.
-
You are doing plenty, possibly too much cardio actually. I would recommend 3 days running, 2 days strength training, 2 days rest.

5'2" -- lost 23 lbs doing heavy lifting 2xs weekly combined with cardio 3xs weekly. And I am over 40! A running injury sidelined me and I gained most of it back, starting again now. The weight lifting made all the difference. I had never done that before.

Thanks for telling me to shut up. I am sure you are much nicer than you seem. I don't think she is starving. But.....her goal is 1660. She is eating closer to 1300 and not eating back her calories, which means she is netting around 800-900 calories. I'm sure you would agree that is not healthy.
-
If you are 100 pounds overweight, eating 1400 calories per day and NOT eating back your exercise calories, you are not eating enough. Your body will not shed weight if it feels it is being malnourished. Eat ALL of your 1660 calories....every single one of them. And if you burn 500 doing Zumba, eat more. eAT!!!!

Protein doesn't make you fat. Stay within your caloric goals with protein rich foods. Eggs, properly sized portions of meat, milk, nuts, cheese, protein shakes, supplement bars, etc. Why are you worried that eating all your protein will make you fat? On a side note, unless you are trying yo build a lot of muscle, you don't…

300 calories for an average woman would be 30 minutes running or elliptical, 40 minutes hard cycling, something like that. What are you doing now? Are you logging your food and exercise?
