  • Oh good god. How about just not in the mood to tolerate rude people.
  • Seriously? Wow!
  • Thank you! Just clicked the link and saw the 6 ice cream cup pics. Can't wait to see what other treasures lurk there!
  • Lol - just as helpful! But, much less of a rude comment. And where can I find the yummy food group - I need some of that on my life.
  • OP - speed at doing tasks is something that comes with practice. Keep at it - and you'll get quicker with the repetition.
  • Wow - that's helpful!
  • I don't gain during - but my weight refuses to drop in the 2 weeks running up to it. Once it's done I'll drop 2/3 pounds. It's all water retention / water loss - I now know not to sweat it.
  • Yes - your body's functions slow down when you sleep. But that happens whether or not you eat just before you go to bed. When you wake up things speed back up again - it all balances out. I get so many calories a day. The way my life and my personal preferences work means that eating my main meal of the day is in the…
  • It's just about midnight here. I've not long finished my dinner. I have no problem weight and eating at this time as long as I don't over do the calories for the day. I eat this way because it suits me - it fits my way of life / daily activities. I want something I can live with. Others struggle eating so late because it…
  • First and foremost - I'm not a doctor / health professional. And you should be checking this out with yours before you do anything. My layperson common sense thing said water based exercise - as it's kinder on your joints. What I would say is this - my gym has a pool (that's why I joined). About 20% of the pool users are…
  • I'm a bit all over the place. I know what I'm planning to eat for lunch at work on Monday - because I've already bought it. That has been logged already. I have no idea what I will eating over the weekend yet! I'm meeting friends - there will be food - no idea where / what yet). So nothing logged there - so I'll be winging…
  • Lol - mind if I pinch a bit of that popcorn?
  • This is me at the moment. I'm going to brave the gym again next week - in the hope it'll have calmed down a little by then. I had to fight for the squat rack in the run up to Christmas - I'd have had to resort to physical violence to get near it when busier!!
  • That sounds like an outstanding job to me :) yay you!
  • Yes I've heard of it - it's another one of those weight loss miracle supplements - a couple of years ago it was acai (I actually got sucked in by that one- lol), since then it's been green coffee, then raspberry ketones, now it's cambogia. none of them work - save your money.
  • A bad week happens to all of us - some of the gain is likely to be water anyway. So no need to get discouraged. Just write last week off and get back on plan.
  • No problem at all - I usually eat my main meal of the day late at night. As long as I eat in a deficit I still lose weight.
  • I had bacon fried in it's own fat, poached egg, mushrooms, tomato and spinach. It was lovely - and I still didn't go over my calories. I cooked the rest of the bacon up too - and have brought to work today for lunch. Will make scrambled egg and veggies to go with it. Your onion and cheese addition sounds wonderful too -…
  • At the moment I have a jar of peanut butter in the fridge and an apple sat on my desk ready for exactly that moment. M&S do loads of healthy food (albeit expensive). Their pre-prepared fruit has come to my rescue a number of times.
  • I'm just sad that I didn't have bacon and eggs for breakfast. But then, there's always dinner - I know what I'll be eating tonight now! And if I add some spinach to my eggs, grill a tomato and add some mushrooms I'll be getting some of my 5 a day in too! Yay Me!
  • I've changed my diary to one meal - and just log everything I eat there - from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep. I have considered changing this slightly - as I wear a fitbit - and that runs midnight to midnight. Logging my food that way would make things neater as everything would tie up - but it all works out…
  • No. Why would it make me angry? MFP is a tool that I choose to use that help me manage my weight. I don't have to use it. I don't have to log everyday if I choose not to. If I choose not to do it then I live with the consequences. If logging makes you angry maybe it isn't for you (at least not right now). There are other…
  • I'm with you on the egg thing - it's even worse if I've had a beer or two the night before - the combination does evil things in my stomach. I've not found a way of stopping it - all I can say if people think I'm bad after eating eggs they wouldn't want to come near me after a pickled onion! I just try and limit eating…

  • This! And this!
  • Now that's what I'm talking about! Mmmmmm cheddar!
  • I'm from the UK - the cheddar we eat is not what is being talked about in this thread! It seems the name has been hijacked and used to describe plastic cheese! Was never offended - I was rather confused!!
  • I see - it's a lost in translation thing. What is in those pictures is not the cheddar we have in the UK. All is ok with the world again (especially after eating some real cheddar).
  • Whoa whoa whoa!! Cheddar is not cheese?!!!!???? Since when? Have I finally made the switch to a bizarre cheese free alternate universe? Feeling more than a little shocked/unsettled/lightheaded at this news - off to eat "fake" cheese / "the delicious contender for the king of all cheeses - cheddar*" (*depending on which…
  • On the running days are you getting the extra calories for them?
  • If you have negative calorie adjustments enabled you can disable that in your settings - but I wouldn't recommend that - it can easily lead to over eating. I think it's more likely to be an activity level issue - how active did you tell MFP you are when you set up your goal?
