My 2 go-to snacks packed with protein: Greek Yogurt, some kind of fruit, granola and 1/2 scoop protein powder = approx 40-50 grams of protein (look at my diary for the other macros) Cottage cheese, fruit = 11 grams of protein Yummy in my tummy!

QFT Think about it. If you're having issues with him possibly going along with his mother's wishes, think how much harder it will be if you two actually get married. Go to counseling and really get to the bottom of it. Otherwise, you're in for a bumpy ride with a mama's boy (eek).

I go by set grams not percentages. So it adds on extra grams of each macro with increased exercise. I don't want that.

Got my stuff on Craigslist. Found a squat rack/bench/lat pull down set up with barbell and 200# of plates for $200. We bought a curl bar to complete our ensemble. I saw a deal that included dumbbells as well for $250 but that one sold fast.

I've tried the Lean Shakes once upon a time. While they are the tastiest I've had, I'm used to getting at least 20 g from a shake or bar. The more the better in my opinion.

I always look for the most bang for your buck. Low cals and carbs, really high protein. Body Fortress is cheap and has 30 g of protein. I mix it with water most of the time but also have used skim milk and added banana or other type of fruit.

Since you're strength training M W and F, I'd do Total Body compound lifts. If you wanted to do isolated lifts, you could do them more often (working each area once a week).

Yep I feel the same. It's the photos that kind of make me really see how I am. But in the mirror even, I see an average looking girl...sometimes even thin (when I suck in my stomach). Ha! But the scale and measurements tell a different story. :\
