I need more active friends! I started MFP 2 years ago though I fell off the wagon last year. But I'm back on the saddle and am more determined than ever to meet my goal. I've restarted my weightlifting program and have gone back to meal prep. I know I can do this - and I know you can too!

Fantastic job!!

The tomatoes are not canned. I eat the same thing for lunch ( change it up weekly). Just works better for me.

Thank you allyphoe!

Will it last if I make it all today? Or will it go off on day 5?
-
Sorry. Yeah I'm portioning out to eat every day. Small batches of all those ingredients mixed together.

Starting Body Beast soon - just got my package yesterday  Add me if you'd like :) Oh and I also took Body Combat in a class setting a couple of years ago - absolutely loved it. Felt like a warrior :p

I'm also signed up to Jillian Michael's dietbet. I've tried HealthyWage before as well...that was a major fail lol But not because the program didn't work, the long-term ones are easier to forget about. For me, short-term seems to be working more...

What flavor did you try? I knew it was probably too good to be true. I'll stick to real ice cream

Have y'all heard of Arctic Zero? Haven't tried it yet but I heard it's awesome sauce. 150 calories per PINT.

Any fellow lifters? Add me!

Wish I only had 10 pounds to lose :p Welcome and good luck!

Don't think it will help, @OAKCOACH as this post is 5 years old. :p

Do a search on this topic within the forum. There have been quite a few threads about workouts whilst at work and there has been some good feedback.

How much does body type (endomorph, ectomorph etc.) factor in modifying your macros? I've read so many things that say endomorphs should eat a lower percentage of carbs and more protein as well as exercise consistently, all the time as we are prone to gaining fat quickly. This goes against the "calories in vs calories out"…

No, it isn't designed to be worn all day.

So completely awesome!!! Loved reading this

I'm in Texas as well. Good luck with your goals!

Like I stated before, I do visit my family. It's not like I go months without seeing them. I make time for them - but that's why I plan. When invitations to special situations come up (especially last minute), I choose to decline because my schedule has been set. Plus - they live far from me. I work a full time job with a…

JoRocka - I agree. And it happens more often than not in my family. Which is why I tend to say, "screw it" these days. Back when I was single with plenty of time, I didn't mind it. Now, it's annoying as ****e.

I do visit my family often. There are just those special instances that just start becoming inconvenient. But I do understand what you're saying. Edited to add: in terms of my nephew - they live far and completely out of my way. I told her I'd visit him this weekend.

I remember when I first started "seriously" training - after a long period of no exercise. I thought I was going to pass out half-way through a 30 minute session. If you are in fact a complete "newbie" in the realm of exercise, this could be the culprit as to why you felt that way. As far as food, completely your…

That is ultimately my goal. However, who knows if I'll have any family or friends left when I finally reach that goal lol :ohwell: At least I'll have my husband because, well, we workout together and is working toward the same goal. Edited for typos...

I'm of the same mind.

You should probably add that contestants need to be over 300 pounds. To achieve that type of weight loss anyway... But I wish you luck.

Omg - I had to contain my friggin' laughing over here at my desk.

The new code itself isn't working. The site is running fine so it's not a major issue that needs fixing ASAP. It's a simple add-on that our BOD wants - a suggestion box. Found a floating one I liked on Themeforest but it's not showing up on the site. Not sure what could be preventing it from showing other than the JS must…
