I reallty think you need to do some reading before you start actually doing anything. You're not really starting off on the best/healthiest thinking. Do some research around your goals, and reassess.

Erm, wine is gluten free 99.99% of the time, except when it contains added coloring or flavoring - such as dessert wines. On a personal note, not sure we'd ever be best friends. Why are you forcing your SO to make the GF choice too?

Definitely a losing battle. I used to get annoyed that my friends only ever wanted (and still want) to go to the pub, but it's their choice and I tried to get them to do stuff with me, but I soon realised that it was my choice too and I just meet them a little later if I want to go for a workout before a drink.

I could easily go a month without binge drinking, but hey, sometimes I'm having fun with my friends and stuff happens. Drinking actually comes part and parcel of my occupation, not just lifestyle choices. I guess we can't all be saints.

Was it not the 16 hour difference, and not the calorie logging that reset it? You don't have to log calories to keep your streak.
