Chicken sandwich without mayo and melon slices for the side should fit into just about anyone's goals. If you have more calories to spend, you could get a burger. They will happily modify (leave off sauces and such) to meet your needs. The nutrition calculator on their website is quite helpful.

Fage 2% is my favorite. Very thick and with a nice tangy flavor.

I used to doubt how many calories I actually could burn doing things like cleaning or cooking until I got a BodyBugg. My days with the largest TDEE have all been days that I haven't done any "exercise", just cleaning and cooking. For example, on December 31st while getting ready for my New Year's party my TDEE was just…

Government has been involved in marriage for a very, very long time. Marriage is a legal institution. It gives very specific legal rights. It's not about who you love or what religious ceremony you choose. It's about who inherits property, who has rights to any children, and who gets to make legally binding decisions about…

I read labels carefully and am rather picky. But they are so handy to have some days for a quick protein boost. My current favorites are NuGo Slim bars. They come in several flavors. The one I usually get (because it's available locally) has 190 calories, 16g protein, 6g fat, 19g carbs - only 2 of which is sugar. Also,…

Sounds delicious! Thanks for sharing. :)

Listen to your body and take it at the pace you need. For the first several months I was going to the gym I only walked on the treadmill and used the machines for strength training. Now I really switch up the cardio to all the various machines and enjoy the crazy workouts my trainer comes up with. But it's definitely been…

I love them too. Salt and vinegar are my favorite, but the cheddar and the sour cream and onion are pretty good too. They're great when you're craving something salty and crispy. They have a lot of flavor for a very reasonable amount of calories.

Not a big fan. I've discovered some all natural uncured bacon that I can eat upon occasion. (Just can't handle the preservatives in the regular stuff.) But I only bother if I'm cooking a meal for someone who really likes it. When I do eat it, it must absolutely be extra crispy.

The way MFP works is to give you a daily calorie goal to reach your stated weight loss goal. If you exercise, it adds those calories so that you will still be reaching that goal. For example, say you have a daily goal of 1500 calories. You eat breakfast for 250 calories, and are then at a net of 250 at that time. Then you…

I had this issue when I went on a very low fat diet. I had to switch it up and now have about 25% of my calories from fat each day. No more pain, and totally back to being regular now. FWIW, I'm also less cranky. Same number of calories, just distributed differently across the macros. Your body may simply like a different…

Well, no hope to offer, but sympathy and to let you know it could be worse. At my heaviest of near 250 I would have still worn an A cup if they had made them with bands large enough. Now if I measure properly, theoretically I should wear something like a 42AA. Of course, that size doesn't actually exist... So I end up…

I do because I put a bit of sugar and some milk into it. (Yes, I measure both.) If I drank it black, like I do tea, I probably wouldn't bother unless I really wanted to keep a record of caffeine intake.

Agree with many others here; there's no size that's "too big" in and of itself. I was very uncomfortable riding a bike at my heaviest, but do ok now (though it's still slightly uncomfortable). But I think that has more to do with my shape and how I carry my weight. It was just too jarring on my tummy when I was big, really…

Thanks for the warning. I've thought of trying the Yoplait because sometimes it's on sale for cheap. Now I know why. :noway: I'll stick to my plain Fage 2% with the occasional venture into the Fage with fruit or Chobani when I can't get the big tubs of the plain.

I'm 5'5" also, and my goal is 145. I'm currently at 165. Honestly I really would just like to lose about one more size in clothing. What the scale says doesn't matter nearly as much to me at this point. But I'm currently at 39" bust, 32" waist, and 42" hip. I'd like to lose about 2 inches (or just a bit more) off the waist…

My favorite way is to add it to oatmeal. If I have the calories I'll also add some dried cranberries. Yum. I like it in protein shakes too. Someone suggested trying it in plain yogurt. I found it a bit too tart for my tastes. Though maybe I'll try it again and add a bit of honey. I think my next mission with it is to try…

Many of the Kashi brand cereals have reasonably healthy nutrition stats. Their plain Go Lean Cereal has 140 calories per serving and has 13g of protein and 10g of fiber. Not bad at all when you're in a hurry in the morning.

Currently I do 6 days a week. Monday and Wednesday I have an hour session with my trainer. We usually do some type of strength or plyometric workout. Sometimes circuit style, sometimes just straight lifting. She keeps it interesting and is always finding new challenges for me. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday I go to the gym…

My "it" is my hair. It's not ok to randomly walk up to a stranger and touch/grab/pet their hair. I don't mind people saying things (for the most part); I know it' uncommon. I'll even chat and answer questions if I'm not in a hurry to get somewhere. But please, don't touch me if you don't even know me.

Roast beef wrap with spinach and yogurt dip with carrots, cucumbers, and red peppers. Dinner tonight is going to be breakfast. Think I am going to make some low-fat spice muffins to go with the eggs and bacon.

Best side effect ever! Congratulations :flowerforyou:

Trying a new recipe tonight; it's cooking in the crockpot now. It's a pork stew with lots of root vegetables and green chilies. Hopefully it tastes good...

Another Austinite here

Another fan of PopChips. I love the vinegar and salt variety. One of my other go-tos is baked tortilla chips and salsa. The Guiltless Gourmet chips are quite tasty and very reasonable calories. Another salty snack I love, though not at all chip-like, is hummus on grape tomatoes. It's such a nice contrast of crisp and…

I usually add about 1/8 tsp extract. Some days it's vanilla, some it's almond, and today it was lemon. The lemon goes very well with blueberries.

I love working out at lunch time. It's the only time I've managed to be consistent (two and a half years now). It's a great break from the office and leaves me refreshed for the afternoon. Luckily I can actually eat my lunch at my desk while I work after I get back from the gym. Yes, that does mean I have to shower at the…

I'm 5'5" and am mostly in 12s now at 165. 14s weren't very long ago; I'd say I first could fit into them around 175.

I live in Texas and Central Market (and apparently some HEBs) carry it. I find it a very useful, and tasty, way to get more protein. It's great added to a bowl of oats.

If I understand the Fit Bit correctly, yes, it should give you your TDEE. I have a BodyBugg, and that's what it does.
