Thank you very much for sharing your story and photos with us. It's very inspirational to see parts of your journey. I'm glad to hear that you were able to take the tragedy of your mother's death and make it into something beautiful in your life. That's an amazing tribute to what a wonderful woman she must have been as…

Put me in for 910 calories burned today, 7/12. Since it's double day, that would be 1820 or 36.4 miles. Thanks for all your fantastic efforts today. Every calorie counts.

I got my air popper at Target for around $20, or maybe a bit less. It's super easy to use, though a bit loud. It really doesn't take anything but popcorn kernels. I sometimes like to sprinkle a bit of cinnamon over mine for a different flavor.

Thanks so much for sharing. It reassures me that my goal is right on track. When I get down to 148 I should be right around 20% body fat. Once I see what that looks like I may want to go down just a bit more.

I'm at 466 calories burned for today, Monday 7/11. I'll try to get in a good cardio workout for tomorrow's double count.

My main is an affliction warlock, Alliance on Suramar. I have lots of alts and occasionally play Horde on Moonrunner.

It's a difficult call. I have one pair of cross trainers and one pair of running shoes now. They really have different functions. The cross trainers help a lot when I'm doing balancing and stability work. But the running shoes definitely make a difference when running. I think part of it depends on what type of running…

I'm 5'5" and 171 currently. My 14s are starting to get loose, but not enough to go down a size yet. I'm expecting to be in 12s by the time I hit 160 if not sooner. I carry my weight in my belly, but also have broad shoulders and hip bones. (Pants are always baggy in the butt and thighs.)

I've definitely had feelings like this. I'm in a similar place; I've lost 75 pounds and have about another to 25 to go. Some days it's easy to see how far I've come, while others I can only see how far I still have to go. I definitely find that it can be worse when people notice than when they don't. It really makes it…

I like many of the Kashi products that I've tried. Since you specifically asked about the regular Go Lean Cereal, yes, I like it too. It's definitely much more filling than most cereals. Most days it will last me till lunch, and if I do need a morning snack it will just be something small like a string cheese or small…

432 calories burned for me today, Sunday 7/10.

I'm in for 744 today. So with the double that would be 1488 towards today's miles.

Hmm, where to start?.... When I was growing up I was very much of the "nothing can touch" variety. I wouldn't eat most casseroles or mixed dishes. Thankfully I outgrew that. I tend to eat my least favorite parts of the meal first and save the best bits for last. Probably the strangest to many people (though not that…

Congrats! It's such a nice feeling when other people notice your efforts.

I just got my first real running shoes (been using cross trainers previously), and ended up with the Saucony Ride 4. I have a neutral foot strike and a very long, rather high arch. These shoes are great. They are cushioned, but not too squishy; they have a nice firm bounce when you strike. They are also very light weight.

Hi there. Welcome to MFP from a fellow Texan. I think you'll like it here; there are lots of nice people and some very good information to be had.

Definitely worth bragging about. Not only are you making progress, you are able to see and feel it. Keep up the great work and the positive thoughts.

Hi everyone! Thanks for starting the thread. We're having a going away luncheon for one of my co-workers today, so I wasn't sure I'd be able to fit in my usual mid-day workout. But, it being a double day, I couldn't skip. So I was thinking of y'all when my alarm went off an hour and a half early this morning. Hope…

Congratulations! That's a fantastic accomplishment.

Neither one did. The first one asked for just height, weight, and gender. It estimated a lean body mass of 110 pounds (49.9kg). The second one also asked for several measurements (waist, hip, wrist, and forearm). It estimated lean body mass at 125 lbs (56.7kg). That's a fairly large difference. :p I'm not sure how to go…

Do you have any recommendations for a lean body mass calculator? I tried two different ones and got results that vary by about 150 calories.

As always your inspirational words are a great way to start the day. How could anyone read that and fail to smile and want to pass on that feeling of joy to everyone around? You're amazing. Hope you have a fantastic day.

Wow, you can really see the changes. You are doing so well. :flowerforyou: Keep up the fantastic work and you'll be at your next goal before you know it.

Thanks for sharing. That sounds so delicious, and it's a perfect time of year to make these.
