I've been on a lot of diet forums and most of what women with PCOS have shared is to get your blood sugar stabilized as many are insulin resistant and prescribed Metformin and the other is that a controlled or lower carb diet helps as well.

Use an activity tracker like a fit bit one thing I have found is that I can't go by standard charts or even mfp estimates for calorie burns on exercise mine is lower. I have used mine successfully along with mfp to help create a caloric deficit in my diet. Medicine can stabilize us and my endo checks every six months but I…

Don't lift or go back to full activity too early, follow your Drs advice. I went back to work and full activity too early ended up with pelvic floor damage and had to have another surgery to correct.

I used to be very obese and retain a lot of water. I was 173 got sick with salmonella dropped to 168 in 4 days from dehydrating, got better ate normally not above my calorie limit and blew up to 181 less than a week with excess water as my body tried to heal and balance itself. Now still watching calories I am back down to…

Thyroid hormone levels yes but not the TPO antibodies levels which is how Hashis is diagnosed. And most Drs go by the TSH test which isn't even produced by the thyroid but the pituitary gland.

There are many proteins in wheat and gluten may not necessarily be a trigger but one of the other proteins may be the cause.

I see a leading rheumatologist at the University of Illinois and she has had me try gluten free as I have an autoimmune disease and my sister also died from sarcoidosis. I do not have celiac disease but cutting gluten helped with my inflammation. She is a top researcher in the US and in her experience gluten free can help…

Being a member of a few diet and medical forums i have seen many women post how they have had success with low carb diets-They help to stabilize blood sugars which are high in many with pcos. How are your blood sugar levels and are you on metformin?
-
Do you have any chronic illnesses or are on any medications?
-
I looked at your profile and you have a health issue which can slow weight loss- pcos. Pcos can also cause insulin resistance and also contribute to thyroid disease. I would go for a complete checkup with your Dr with a full thyroid panel. Research pcos many find a lower carb type dietcan help with pcos.

There's an old saying dont lose how you cant maintain. I dont have cheat days I have higher calorie days sometimes or days I plan with a certain food like pizza or chocolate. I don't wait until I crave a food so badly I binge and then get discouraged. You see so many people who lose on very restrictive diets, get to goal…

You said "loose stuff under my chin"-could it be loose skin not fat?

I sweeten it and add fruit- strawberries, blueberries pineapple. I mix it half and half with plain Fage Greek yogurt and sweeten and add fruit or not-consistency of a rich creamy pudding. You can also add cocoa powder and flavor extracts.

Hashis is an autoimmune disease. You might have to do a bit more than just take meds-you need to keep your antibodies level down. Some good place to start researching are Stopthethyroidmadness.com and Mary Shoman's website.

Post RNY it is painful to binge and could make you have dumping syndrome as well as hypoglycemia. Of course you can eat more as time goes by but you should be addressing your eating issues-usually bariatric centers have therapists and sometimes groups of patients who meet to address struggles post surgery. Surgery alone…

Op you are on a T4 med only which could be your problem. What are your free T3 and free T4 levels? Many of us need Cytomel a T3 med because of poor conversion issues of T4 into T3. Check out those links I posted on why some don't do well on a T4 med only.

More than likely food allergies or intolérances and they can happen at anytime-have testing done again for celiac and other foods. You need to pay close attention to your food diary- note when the bloating occurs and what you ate before it-we can advise you but you need to do the work on finding out what it is. When you…
