Break from training due to hysterectomy

Looking for a bit of advice or support. I have been strength training for almost 3 years. I visited the gym minimum 3 times a week.
I had to have a hysterectomy 4 weeks ago and have been advised not to train until my sign off which is another 2 weeks away.
What confuses me is that despite doing nothing as I'm on full rest I've lost 9lbs so far. I've tried to maintain a health diet but I have cut back a lot on calories to compensate for my inactivity.
What I'm wondering is- is my weight loss muscle? :( How long will it take to get back again and does anyone have any post hysterectomy training tips?

What type did you have? Vaginal, across cut or full vertical cut?

I had a laparoscopic. Calories wise I'm trying to stick to 1400-1600 A day.

Don't lift or go back to full activity too early, follow your Drs advice. I went back to work and full activity too early ended up with pelvic floor damage and had to have another surgery to correct.
