• You can't target weight loss, but leg lifts and wall sits can tighten your hips up once you lose the weight. [:
• Where do I get my self image? Personally, I am 19 and on the internet a good portion of the day running my personal blog. A lot of my peers in that forum have blogs dedicated to the beauty that is 'slender'. Some take it even further to praising 'skinny'. I've never been medically overweight, ever. Yet even now, I see an…
• I don't really think so. I just try to stay conscious of not eating a bunch of carbs at dinner and making sure I eat protein in the morning. Most everything I eat is "Low fat" and "Sugar free" so I don't worry too much about it.
• I love my boyfriends pouty lips. His big arms and BACK MUSCLES!! Mm. He looks like a rock climber, he is essentially, but really. Yum. [:
• Mine do this every time the weather changes. But the protein thing also rings a bell, I'm always barely scraping by as per it. [:
• I've never been told that I've gained weight (by anyone who mattered!) But people do say things that they think are positive, but still kind of hurt. "Wow, you're so tiny now" "You've lost a TON of weight" It really is motivating in a twisted way, though. Hang in there, girl, you're doing amazing. 21 pounds! Beat 'em, bust…

• I've had pretty good luck with my old basic Sunbeam scale from walmart if you're looking for something reliable. It only tells you weight in pounds and increments of .2, but I've tested it by weighing multiple times in a row then weighing while holding a water bottle and it never messes up [:

• I like to have weight watchers chocolate snack cakes around all the time. I'm usually not a chocolate person, but when that time rolls around I have to have chocolate! x.x And those little cakes are pretty rich, chocolate frosting, moist chocolate cake and fudge filing. They're only about a bite, but it's 90 calories and…
• Yup. I'd never put it on my iPod for anything other than working out, and I LOVE to get crazy and dance to it at parties.

• Dubstep is probably one of the greatest underground electronic music movements yet, but it's beginning to become mainstream. Which is sad. Try looking up some old classic dub with slower bpm, that'll trip you out way better than Dedmau5. Reject the main5tream!

• I like to have my hot tea, too. But usually, I try to drink water along with it. I'm pretty sure tea can dehydrate you, but there's a lot of debate over that. I would definitely make sure to make some effort to drink water [:
• I don't know if this is what you mean, but I definitely feel more comfortable in my skin. I don't pull and my shirts and pants anymore, I can feel the thin layer of fat on my stomach thinning more and more. It's crazy.
• I feel like this all the time. I call it 'diet brain'. It's the only thing you think about, it's the only thing you want to talk about and even if you wanted to talk about something else, the only topic that's floating in your mind is about your hip measurements or how many grams of fat was in that chicken salad and 'if I…

• Well my nightmare was, once I made a dress for myself. It was just a sundress so I figured if I could pull it on over my head, I could do the same to get it off... WRONG. My mom had to cut me out of it, ahaha. Another time, I broke a zipper on a dress in a fitting room... x.x I wanted to die! But I was only a size 10 at…
• I agree, I think the diet that works the best is healthy proportional meals and daily exercise. Diets like the Dukan Diet or anyothers can leave you feeling deprived and lead to binges or worse, going wild and forgetting that you could gain weight back after you've reached your goal.

• three pounds in a month is pretty dang good, girl! i wish i could still lose that much, ah! [: i've heard a lot that one of the keys to weight loss is patience. You didn't wake up fat, you won't wake up thin, you know! I used to be really anxious about getting pounds off super fast until I realized that my body just…
• Hey babygirl! I'm 19 also, wrapping up my first year in college and I started losing weight just about at the same weight you are. I'll definitely add you, it's so nice to be able to relate to someone a bit younger on this site, seeing as most people here are married or trying to lose baby weight. [: glad to have gained a…
• I would make carbs burn fat.
• Anything by Bassnectar. The 180 bpm really get me into my workout, and the anticipation of a beat drop gives me an energy boost!
• Umm, nice username first of all, ahaha. Well, it depends on what you put into MFP as your goal. If your goal is set to lose 1 pound per week and your calorie counter says 1550 calories, you should eat 1550 calories to lose one pound a week. [: Simple as pie!
• Well if it's a franchised cafe, you can probably look up their name and find their nutrition facts online. I do that for just about every place I plan to go. [: If you can't find their exact nutrition facts, find a similar meal online and count it as that. It's a rough estimate, but I doubt most calorie counts anyway. Hope…
• It could be a multitude of things seeing as you haven't given any other information and your diary is private.
• As she said, our muscles retain water. Essentially, you're swollen, in a weird way. Your muscles burn because the lactic acid your exercise made you secrete is getting into the tiny tears in your muscles. It's only logical that your muscles would try to retain all the water they possibly could to heal quickly. Be sure to…
• Yogurt and fruit couldn't tide me over either. I definitely second the oatmeal thing, low calorie and it sticks to your ribs. [: Try high fiber cereal, the low calorie english muffins (Whole grain!) and egg beaters. I always have to have fiber and some sort of protein in the morning unless I want to pass out later on in…
• Well right now i have a mini goal of reaching 135 before June 18th, the day of a concert. I dunno, certain dates like that really motivate me and keep me on track. If it's just some random day, I can't grab enough motivation, really. But when I'm working out and listening to the beats I'm looking forward to hearing x…
• and/or said person is flat out lying about what size their wearing.
Like me lying on my driver's license. If I can lose six pounds, I won't be lying anymore :)
Just wait until you can't wait to renew your license because the LIE you put on there is now 20 pounds more than you actually weigh. [: What a rush
• Definitely a height thing. At my high weight of 160 I was still a 10, but I'm almost 5'8''. At 143ish I'm a 5/6 and small/extra small for tops.
• It could be a multitude of things. But seeing as you've lost 17 pounds, your body may just be getting used to what you're doing. Try switching up your schedule for working out, changing your meals you know. Switch it up, give it a little break even. I was plateau'd for over a MONTH! I know how frustrating it is... But I…
• Definitely get your fiber! I love english muffins and a bit of egg beaters for a fast breakfast. Without the fiber and protein I'm hungry again within three hours!
• mm, i wonder how this would fare with green tea instead. i love green tea, haha.
