my spiritual health my physical health the planet's health I'm not an ethical vegan, I don't think it's wrong to eat animals, but I must say I'm glad I don't contribute to the animal cruelty of agribusiness. I've been vegetarian about half my life. I never did really care for meat or eggs, they were easy for me to give up.…

"Well here are two long-term weight management truisms for you. If you can't happily eat less, you're not going to eat less. And if you can't happily exercise more, you're not going to exercise more. Next time you're considering a new diet or other weight-loss technique, ask yourself a simple question: "Could I happily…

When we went to Germany & Austria, we brought PB because we were afraid we couldn't buy it there (we were wrong). Good to know we'll need to pack some if we ever go to the UK.

I'm losing weight just fine without tracking sugar. I have generous portions of fruit at every meal. Mmm, sugar!

Sent you a friend request!

Yes, here on the Gulf Coast of the US the weather is much more pleasant in winter than summer. I try to exercise outside in the early morning, but it's still unpleasantly hot.

Let's see...this week I had my one month mfp anniversary. I also found a new excellent walking track yesterday!

Most chain restaurants have their menus and nutritional information on-line, so I would research those beforehand to come up with a game plan.

I don't like eating before bed because it gives me indigestion.

Don't get the sad ones in the dried fruit aisle. The Medjool dates in the produce section are awesome!

Unless you have some specific goal involving them, I wouldn't worry about it. Eat a variety of healthy food, and you'll be fine. I don't even have mine displayed. I display fiber, minerals and vitamins instead.

I don't have much of a sweet tooth. I do try to eat a lot of fruit every day. We usually keep chocolate-peanut butter spread on hand and sometimes no-bake cookies, although the cookies will sometimes go bad before we finish them.

Just on the off chance you haven't, have you had mfp recalculate your daily calories for your new weight?

When I have fast food (and honestly, I still have it fairly often), I go to their website first and look up the nutritional information. I then go ahead and pre-log my meal and if it still seems reasonable to me, then I'll go buy it and eat it. You might decide that you need to give it up cold turkey. Or maybe you just…

I don't like plain avocado, but I've always loved guacamole.

Maybe she meant it as a compliment, and it just came out wrong. Like she was expecting them to pick someone who had been morbidly obese?

Started my walk before sunrise.

You only enjoy your friends if they are eating? Sounds like you need different friends...or you need to be a better one.

There is no way I'm going to log something that's 10 calories or less, I'd rather just reduce my daily calorie goal. But if being anal works for someone else, go for it.

Exercise is the tough one for me. I haven't been hungry since I've started mfp, but I have been wearing myself out. I'm just not used to exercising at this weight, and walking outside at this time of year (gulf coast) is hot at any time of day. I say do exercise that you love, and combine it with other things you love.

I chew with my mouth shut, I don't moan, smack or slurp. But my other half still complains. It's some kind of psychological problem he has, I guess.

^^This. Also, if it fits I sits. Looking forward to being able to sit in *all* the seats!

3-6, usually 3-4. I do just fine on three meals/day, but I sometimes have snacks if I realize I didn't eat enough at my previous meal or will have a piece of fruit from my next meal a little early.

The fact that you said you would be on the move all day long makes it sound like it wouldn't be a good day to do a complete fast. I would suggest a juice fast or intermittent fasting instead.
