I think the group size will keep increasing each month as we get more 'veterans'! A trip to our local Italian restaurant was my downfall last month. So I'm happy to report that I was able to eat there this week and stay under budget. Yay for staying out of the bread basket! :)

August 7: 5 servings As I've said before, I'm not that fond of salads, but the house salad was redeemed by perfectly ripe tomato slices and a yummy tomato dressing.

Are you drinking enough water? Being dehydrated can cause fatigue. You're fairly close to goal weight. You might trying changing your calorie goals to half a pound a week.

@Lydia: That's a good challenge! I do pretty good with water, usually 9-12 cups. For anyone new to drinking this much, I recommend a large cup or bottle and a straw. @Gus: I lasted 2/3rds of last month; I didn't let it phase me too much. Not much else healthy, but I did get the veggies in! :) Was looking at the sale paper today, and they have lettuce and other salad greens on sale. *looks at uneaten bagged salad from last grocery trip* I don't know, I'm just not that fond of salads. August 3: 5 servings Hit up the crudite tray at the family get-together. Was sent home with two extra stalks of celery. Anyone have good ideas on what to do with so much celery? Currently we add it raw to salads and to beans when cooking.

We went through a phase where we really loaded down our homemade pizza with *all the bell peppers*. We've since moved on to other toppings and haven't bought them recently.
