I have social anxiety and I have a hard time talking to strangers. But I REALLY wanted to tell this girl how much I loved her pants. Sooooo I tried to tell her and she told me (in spanish) she doesn't speak english. I spent 3 minutes trying to figure it out in Spanish and when I finally did she was so excited! so it might…

If I ever finding myself wanting to eat just to eat, I grab baby carrots. they are super crunchy, taste good and it's satisfying. and Low calories! But I bought myself a $300 outfit that I don't fit into. I'm one of the cheapest people I know, (I normally don't spend more than $10 on a shirt and $20 on jeans. So that's…

Hi! My name is Allison, my first goal is to get under 200 pounds by Jan 1st. and my 2nd goal is 160 by July 15th :)
-
I haven't been in the 150 range since 5th grade! that's why I want to get there so bad hahahaha. My first goal is to get under 200 pounds, then to a healthy body fat (NOT BMI!!! I have muscle and I am proud of it!) and go from there :) you got this!
-
Good for you!!!!! My goal is when I go home for xmas to get into my prom dress :) I kinda gave up on the scale. It says I only lost 3-4 pounds but my body fat dropped 3% and I will take that anyday!

Good call! I think I will stick to my first weight loss/fitness goals and once I achieve them go from there! :) I just hate trying to figure out what my weight loss goal is. because I know I am pretty happy at 170, but I'm 5'9" that's still considered overweight haha. So I am wondering 160? lower? 140-150 is considered…

That's what I am scared of, it's easy now because I have SO much to lose but once I start hitting a plateau maybe I will lay off the scale :)
-
I know right now my goal is AT LEAST 170 and a half marathon, I guess I should wait until then to pick a new goal! (I'm a planner haha) but that's a great way to see it, new goals to keep pushing ourselves!
-
I have mine broken up, the first half, should be easier. then I am going to start jogging and challenging myself for the last 40. that's a good way to see it tho, have monthly goals! I think my first is going to be sticking with my new routine!
-
:D that's wonderful!!! What an amazing job! I'm 240 now, (5'9") I would LOVE to see 160!! (by July, my birthday!) Congrats on challenging yourself! and ll the hard work!!

A NEWBORN GIRAFFE IS ONLY 130 POUNDS?!?!?! I want.

I'm having that problem too. I know I am happy, healthy and comfortably at 170, but I don't think I've been 160 since 5th or 6th grade so I kind of want to do that. hahaha. but I rather be strong soooo we will see when I get there!

apparently I lost my brain hahahahaha

HECK YA!!! great job!!!

Also just incase anyone was wondering, they took $20 off the start up fee (now only $69 which is nice because they split it into 2 payments), and the monthly ended up coming to $31.99 (2 yr contract). Which isn't bad, the gym is .7 miles from my house, and with all their locations it'll be easier to get in the gym if I'm…

that's what I used to do but after some personal issues I'm a little more anxious and nervous all the time haha. I think once I start actually losing weight I will be okay with fluctuations. out of curiosity I hopped on the scale and it went up a pound and I freaked out hahaha. I'm good now but I am waitin til my actual…
-
thanks for calling me clueless. I understand what fluctuations are and why they happen. I also know the type of personality I have and anxiety I have and that is why I do not do it daily.

You are wonderful.

I know personally when I start to workout and diet, I end up STARVING. and eat the calories back. Buuuuuuuuuut sometimes you should and sometimes you shouldn't. if it helps maybe give up counting calories for a while. and See what your body is telling you. If you are already eatting healthy it shouldnt be a problem. I've…

Take the red numbers with a grain of salt. (sorry I had to)

my favorite part about the healthy routine is when you crave something you actually need it. right now I crave bad foods and if I give in I feel worse after. but when I was healthy I craved something, (usually Milk) gave in, and it felt like I had just taken the worlds most refreshing nap!! Can't wait for those feelings…

if your sodium intake is a little high, relax it could have been lower yesterday! and just drink another glass of water and flush it out. sodiums just salt! it makes you retain water so if you drink a little extra water it'll flush out! or sweat extra. I get dehydrated so easily that I don't mind a little extra sodium it…

pinterest had a chart about the 'right places to measure' i've always used the widest part. widest part of my thighs, widest part of my bicep/forearm, ect. because I'll always have a widestpart!! the only thing I did 'by the book' is for the BF% :) I find it better than the scale because If I do great on muscle mass and…

measurements are super easy! for women you measure you neck, waist (smallest part) and butt (widest part) with slight amount of tension (enough it isn't falling but not indenting your skin either). I always use the livestrong body fat calculator. it's very accurate! the gut and chest measurements are just for me, because…

i don't care that my reason is whatever, but several people where mocking a group of women that want to get out of the obese range prior to getting pregnant. and that made me so mad!
