bananas, almonds, string cheese, apples, clementines...the list goes on and on :)

Ok, some of my wording "you'll get used to it" is somewhat true. If you're used to eating everything and anything you want, any calorie reduction will take getting used to. Your body will adapt, especially if you are eating the right foods. By all means if you're not feeling well doing it then you should definitely eat…

At first I had a difficult time with 1200 calories but I'm now getting used to it. Feel free to add me, my diary is public to friends. Last night was a bad example (just don't look at yesterday!). I plan it just right that I even have room for snacks at night! :) The one night for dinner I had an egg omelet and turkey…

I suffer from the same...however, at least you're still in the mood to workout. I've hit a slump in that department. This weather affects it all for me :-/ I was debating whether or not to get a sun lamp!

I completely agree with you on their protein ones, bleh! try the vanilla blueberry. that one's my fave!
-
I eat a Luna fiber bar every morning which is about 120 calories or so and it makes me feel fuller for a longer time (its soft). Ditch the belvita...it's not as nutritious as you think.

you should get a heart rate monitor to make sure the calorie burn is accurate.

are you my husband? he's going through the same thing! however, he doesn't weigh anything. are you counting things like olive oil when you cook? are you drinking lots of water? maybe you need to adjust your macros and try eating at a different calorie range?

A banana is my 4pm snack and usually does a good job of holding me over until dinner. It's a healthy/filling snack. Greek yogurt is also a great choice as well as the weight watchers string cheese

Your story sounds a lot like mine. Weight has never been an issue for me. I'm 28 and started on MFP at 145 in the beginning of September. I didn't think it'd take this long to lose but in any case I'm finally losing. I don't lose every week either. My goal weight is 125 and my height is also 5'4. Feel free to add me. I was…

I started drinking it but didn't notice a difference.

I never had an issue with working out, however, at 28 I started the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and developed a knee injury. it sucked. I went to a PT and he watched me walk, etc and noticed that my knees point outward instead of forward. at the appointments he would stretch me and give me stretches to work on at home.…

that is totally wrong. its hard to say how much you really burn unless you have a HRM. get one. they're amazing. my elliptical was overestimating my calories by 30. And with resistance and 30 minutes I'll burnt 280
-
eat two pieces and that's it. depending on the size and toppings it shouldn't be anymore than 600 calories. i tend to nix the crust and just stick to cheese.
-
i also set timed snacking. i'll eat breakfast at 8 with lots of lemon water, have a snack at 10:30, eat at lunch at noon, and then a snack at 2:30-3 mark.
-
to say that i love snacking is an understatement. i feel everyone's pain on this post. I've been really good lately. I still snack but I portion it out on a plate and never eat out of a bag anymore. i try not to eat dinner until 7. I'll have a snack at 4 pm to hold me over (like a banana) and then i'll do a small snack…

As long as you're not eating below 1200 then you're doing it the right way. Congrats on the loss!
-
Eating at 1,000 may be hindering your weight loss. Plus you really should eat back your exercise calories, at least some of them. Don't be scurred ;)
-
exactly how much did you go over? dont forget that depending on how much you ate over your macros, you may have just ate maintenance and not anything that will make you gain. 3500 calories = 1lb
-
invest in an HRM. best money spent for better accuracy
-
def. log it. its tough to see how bad you did but its a good habit.
-
i check this site more than facebook :) add me!

why is pizza being considered a strange food craving??????

Finish the entire thing of Insanity then see where you are at. I've never done it but you should probably finish it. If you didn't lose from it, you probably need to try something else.
-
this happened to me tonight! i had a clementine - 35 calories and a weight watchers string cheese - 50 calories. Only 85 over, no biggie :)
-
I adjusted my MFP to 1 lb instead of 2 lb and it did nothing to my macros. 2lbs can be a "goal" but as far as MFP sees it, I guess it could be impossible for me. I'm 139 lbs.
-
Are you set at 1200 too?
-
Ugh. weight lifting sucks a bit in that sense. My diet macros are set at 1200. I guess if I lift I'll eat 1400. Is that ok? I'm used to burning close to 400 calories from my cardio activities and I love it because I can eat more !
-
got it, i'll do that. thanks!!
-
If I shouldn't log my weight lifting in MFP because I can't go by my calories burned from my HRM then how do I know what I can eat any given day to stay within my diet macros?
