Hydrate, carbs for dinner, and a good mixture of protien and carbs for breakfast. Make sure you eat an hour or so before you begin your 5K. I'll be running in the "race for a cure" Saturday...good luck with yours:)

Maybe you're building muscle...muscle weighs more than fat...if that is the case then you need to measure yourself rather than reading the scale all the time. Try measurements for a while see what happens.

I gained 25 lbs and don't even know how or when...After I had my son, I never recovered from it. I know the feeling. I've just made a habit of my workouts and kept track of all the food I've ate, and it's made a HUGE difference. Good luck!

If you're losing inches but not seeing the weight come off that probably means you're gaining muscle...and muscle weights more than fat. The true sign of fat loss is in inches being lost, and if you are definetly losing inches step off that scale and keep measuring. YOU'RE DOING GREAT!!!

I like the Non-dairy French Vanilla Coffemate powder creamer. It's not as high in fat as the liquid and has a great flavor. I used to use a ton of creamer myself...I slowly started using less for the same reason. Try a little less each time eventually you'll be used to what you're supposed to use in it.
