Might not help you, but I treat my relationship with food like it's an addiction (which it happens to be), and I don't let anything come between me and my recovery.

I'm told it doesn't matter, but then I only eat when I'm hungry, which happens to be about 3 times a day.

If you are lifting weights, you need to know something critical about the difference between adipose (fat) tissue and muscle tissue. The best way to demonstrate the difference is this: If you're adding new muscle, that will show up on the scales much quicker than fat loses.

For me (and I'm not everyone), there has some sacrifice of some family time so that I can exercise. The time I choose to sacrifice is the time that we would have all spent in front of the TV. So, win/win.

^^This. Eat less, move more. It's really that simple. If you find yourself wanting more calories, start lifting weights, which can support a high caloric intake. The problem with diets like ABC is that they can't be sustained indefinitely.

Until you make dealing with these issues a priority, there will always be something else stopping you. I don't mean this to sound harsh, but it's truth. In order to workout 4 to 5 days a week, I have to watch far less TV than I used to.

I eat the same breakfast and usually the same lunch everyday. I eat whatever my wife makes for supper. I do not want to have to think about what I eat, other than making some choices about fruit (like stopping at the store to get blueberries).

Yeah, I've had low BP issue lately. Sometimes my diastolic gets down to 50. Salt is a cheap and easy way to get it. I use Thermotabs (Amazon) when I'm feeling dizzy and lightheaded from low BP.
