  • I'm thinking only your friends can see your food diary. I tried but it's not there. If you feel your menu is good the only other thing I can think of is, are you making sure your portion sizes are correct?
  • must be something in the air. I have been screwing up all over the place, bingeing like crazy. I got back on the wagon yesterday, but even today made some not so greaat choices.

  • I swear I can not have a salad without feta and mango, I put that red onions, avacado, red peppers and a spring mix. Sprinkle with a little Black Cherry Balsamic vinegar and you want to eat the whole bowl. Someone else told me pineapple pieces.
  • I agree that logging your diary is crucial. You would be amazed at how much you dont realize you are eating. I wasn't logging days when I ws busy with my husband and felt frustrated that I was stuck for months to realize on those days I was eating up to 4000 calories. Log everything, weigh your food, check your portion…

  • It's a common problem, wanting to eat all day. I love food, every kind, so I am there with you. I am munching on Fiber One cereal , dry, one flake at a time, drinking a ton of water with them and I find myself not wanting to eat as much. They blow up in your stomach and you fill full.
  • I've noticed when I drink diet soda's I crave more food and sweets. I also have heard it bloats you. I guess the key is if you are dieting to lose weight or dieting to get healthy. That adage if you can't pronounce what is i it, you shouldn't consume it.
  • Hi Shelly, I'm Nan, 54. I too am losing slowly. My goal is a life style change not a diet plan, so I'm learning each and every day how to change my choices into a lifetime committment. Feel free to add me.
  • Everybody has to want it for themselves. You can't want it for her. We all come to a point when we want change, be there for her when she reaches it, otherwise stop focusing on her as it will only create a situation where she will hide her intake and feelings from you.

  • Hard boiled egg white is a great filler as well for snack.. I always keep them on hand to take with me running errands and the like. I also like to have yogurt with fresh fruit and fat free cool whip. It's like an ice cream sundae only good for you.
