Gonna have to research this.

Here is what I do. I pick the body fat percentage I want to achieve. In my case, it's 12%. Right now I'm 23% @ 213 Lbs. So, if I subtract 23% from my current weight, I have 164 Lbs of lean muscle mass. (This would be me with 0% fat, which is not possible.) I then add 12% to 164 to get 184 Lbs. That is my target at this…

Only nature can restrict your body from storing fat somewhere. You or your clothes have no power of it.
-
Exactly!!! Foods can't make people fat without the people abusing them. Does that make sense? LOL :D
-
LOL...Thank you!!!

^^^This 100%. I was doing the same thing. I'm so much happier now that I'm eating a full serving of peanuts instead of 1/2 thinking I was eating a full one. :)

This is the link to a better thread, a more helpful one where I don't sound like and *kitten* :-/ http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1042682-going-from-getting-no-where-to-melting-fat-off

Nope, I don't eat them back. I used to once upon a time,
-
Ugh, someone please delete this post. It's making me look like an *kitten* and I'm really not. I just don't know how to say what I'm trying to say at times.
-
Well, they think they're burning 500 calories but only really burn 200. They eat all those 500 calories back, they have eaten 300 calories over their goal that day. I admit, I posted this with the wrong tone. I was trying to help and it backfired. Ifr someone has the authority to delete, go ahead. I posted a more helpful…

No problem! I know how hard this journey is and if my successes can help others out along the way, it's a win/win for me. I love losing fat and I love helping others.
-
Yep, people don't think that those little condiments and a small piece of hard candy here and there add up, but they most certainly do.
-
I was trying to figure out who you remind me of. Has anyone ever told you that you look like Cate Blanchett with dark hair?
-
LMAO...Glad I'm not. No offense to you, I just have one ex already and that's enough!!!
-
AWESOME...Keep up the good work. Be cautious if those kind of numbers persist though. You don't want to lose too much too fast. Not healthy...
-
Yeah, I'm a bit obsessive when it comes to these things. But I sooooo enjoy having control over it all. That way there are no questions left unanswered when I step on the scale.
-
Thank you and I actually recalculate every time I drop a whole Lb. I know, it may be a little obsessive but, well, I am a little obsessive...LOL.
-
So this gallon jug of water I turn into no calorie, unsweetened tea is no longer water? I beg to differ. There is water in everything, even your food.
-
Yep! This is what I was doing before, not really understanding the whole concept.
-
Yeah, I should have rephrased it before I posted it. It won't work for everyone. I just get tired of some people complaining that they aren't losing weight but when you ask them about their calories in vs. calories out, they say they don't weigh any foods and think they are burning 500 calories doing 10 minutes of cardio.
-
I'm with you here, but, I would suggest cutting it back to one day instead of two. You can wreck a whole week's worth of progress by overdoing it. I have one cheat day a week and this is when I get drunk.
-
Yep, the more safe and effective methods you can arm yourself with, the better. Keep up the good work.
-
AWESOME job on your weight loss!!! And I completely agree.
-
TY
-
That's cool...It never seems to work for me for some reason.
-
The norm is (8) 8oz. glasses but if you are very active, I recommend more. Between my unsweetened tea and water, I usually drink a gallon or more a day. I do a lot of running though.
-
I don't. The problem with this is that too many people underestimate what they eat and over estimate what they burn. Set up a good 500 calorie deficit and eat that amount. If you burn more through activity, great, because you can safely run a 1000 deficit a day and be fine. I highly doubt you are burning 500 calories extra…
-
If it fits in your calories and macros for the day, drink it.
-
This is completely up to you. Almost anyone can have a flat stomach with dedication and hard work. Unless you have some kind of medical condition preventing you.

Mine isn't on wal-mart's site anymore but it's as accurate as the one described here.
