I never eat until noon. I love breakfast foods, just not in the morning. I also get two workouts in on an empty stomach every week day and never lack in energy. I have about 550 calories for lunch, around 430 for an afternoon snack and then that leaves me a little over 1000 calories for dinner and maybe a snack after. I've…

Simple, keep your calories in check. As long as you are at or under your maintenance calories, you will maintain or lose. It won't be easy without exercise, but it is possible.
-
It depends for me. If I have a heavy day where I burn A LOT of calories, I will eat "some" back to bring my energy back up and because I earned it. On lighter days, I don't eat any back because how many calories I ACTAULLY burned is too iffy.

Are you getting plenty of protein to preserve LBM? If not, you may be losing weight by wasting muscle. Get your macros in check to lose "fat" efficiently.
-
I don't have cheat days. I eat what I want all week long (staying under my calorie goal) and that keeps me from needing or wanting a cheat day.
-
I'm still a work in progress, but I'm happy with I've accomplished in 2 months.

Yolks!

LOL...Good points.

Good point!

Sorry for the bad thread title. I suck at titles.
-
A couple of people are missing the point and maybe I should have titled it different. I was posting this for people who use the scale too often and get discouraged about fluctuations in water weight.
-
I would just like to add, I DO use the scale, religiously! I just do it with a light heart.
-
Bumping this so it might help someone. :)

Yep, definitely water retention. You'll drop the 3 Lbs in a few days.

If they are truly friends and you value their friendship, just do your own thing and let them do theirs. NONE of my friends share my enthusiasm for running and getting in shape but that doesn't stop me from being friends with them. Don't let others affect your goals.

What did I do? Changed my lifestyle, trained myself in the art of moderation, ate less and exercised. How was I able to start? Decided it was time to stop being fat and lazy and got off my *kitten* and did it. When did I start noticing results? On the scale/1 week. In the mirror/2 weeks.

Let me tell you, I've been through that so many times. Alienating myself from friends and family because I wanted to eat "clean". My whole life changed when I dropped the "clean" eating and started eating whatever I want in moderation. Now I can have that pizza and ice cream and everything else, as long as I don't go over…

I've found the best for me is to eat 1g per Lb of lean body mass. I stay full and I'm not losing much muscle.

Dr. Oz!!!!!!!!!

Looking through your diary, it is pretty inconsistent. You need to stay in a consistent deficit to see some weight come off.
-
More BS! Extra protein will not turn into fat. Extra calories will turn into fat.
-
I'm dropping 1-2 Lbs a week eating WHATEVER I want WHENEVER I want. I'm not knocking other ways of eating. Some people need all those rules to keep themselves in check. I will say that meal timing and 6 meals a day and all that is BS though. If you do it because that's the way you like to eat, fine. If you do it because…

I said enough was enough and quit. I found more important things that I enjoyed more like.....RUNNING!!!!

Thank you!!!

Wow, *kitten* much? Everyone has their own ways of meeting their goals.
-
My ultimate reward, the one I can't wait for, is when I have reached my ultimate goal (12%BF). I will then post a before and after pic on Facebook where all my closest friends and family will be able to see the hard work I have put in.

After researching more, I believe tea is 99% water as long as there is nothing added to it. Drink your tea and count it as water.
