Water intake

I drink a lot of green tea, my office is always cold so it warms me up. Question is, can I count this as my water intake, or should I only count plain water for my 8 glasses a day?

Yes, count your green tea. I drink a gallon of regular, unsweetened tea every day and I count it all.

Everyone has a different view on this. I only count water as water. When I drink green tea it's just a bonus.

Have you tried drinking warm water with fresh squeezed lemon?

You can count your tea towards your water intake! Any liquid (minus alcohol) can be counted.. yes even pop and coffee!

Coffee, tea and pop are not as dehydrating as people think. They hydrate you up to I believe the fifth cup in a day at which point it starts to become dehydrating however not enough to really make a difference.

I could anything I drink towards my water intake. If it has calories, I count the calories in it but also add a cup of water to my tracker.

After researching more, I believe tea is 99% water as long as there is nothing added to it. Drink your tea and count it as water.

To me, tea is just hot, leaf-flavoured water. I don't see how that doesn't count as water but cold water filled with fruit does. *shrugs* To each their own.
