I've been a treadmill runner for quite a while and have only very recently (say, maybe in the last 1 1/2 to 2 months) ventured outside. Well, today I did my first 10K ever! Outside!

There wasn't too much of a secret. I log my food & exercise religiously, and often overestimate the food and underestimate the exercise. I rarely eat back my exercise calories. And I'm carrying on a torrid love affair with my treadmill & stationary bike. I'd love to lose two more pounds just so I can say that magic…

I started on the treadmill. Just walking. I did this for a good 2 months until one day, I realized that I jogged for the full half hour. So I did that for a while. Then I increased the speed and time. I'm now running for hours at a time - still on the treadmill (thank goodness for my tv and 3 consecutive hours of…

I see it! Or rather, I don't see it. There is a definite difference in your body shape and it's extremely evident in your face. You *do* look younger. Keep it up, girl! Dang!
-
I can definitely see a difference. Good for you, and keep on going!
-
Fan-TASTIC!

I completely agree with underestimating the exercise, and I would add in overestimating the food!

I'm a long distance treadmill runner. Does that count? I try to do at least 10 miles every day - often a half marathon. One day last week (2 weeks ago?) I did a marathon in a little over 5 hours. But again, on my treadmill.

Here! TNT plays 3 hours of Supernatural every weekday from 9 to noon. I'm on my treadmill for anywhere from an hour to three hours a day watching the show.

My introduction to Peter Capaldi was as the Angel Islington in the UK mniseries Neverwhere, written by Neil Gaiman. Love them both!

"The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it. Resist it, and your soul grows sick with longing for the things it has forbidden to itself." - Oscar Wilde Give in to it, but in moderation. Don't go overboard. Dieting isn't about deprivation. It's about relearning how to eat correctly.

And we know you're on the right track, because you came here to ask for advice. Had you been ready to give up and throw in the towel, you wouldn't have posted anything. You can always come here. Yes, there will occasionally be trolls, but mostly it's a very supportive community and you'll find that a lot of people share…

I love my nutribullet. Not only do I use it for shakes, but I use it for a lot of my cooking, too. I make a pretty mean salsa, it cuts up my onions & garlic easy, purees veggies for soups, etc...

I just like the taste of it better. Simple.

I got a disease called CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/reflex_sympathetic_dystrophy/detail_reflex_sympathetic_dystrophy.htm I'm currently going into remission, but the medication packed on weight. I'd been slowly getting heavier anyway, but this was the straw that broke the camel's…

I love it. I've developed an intense relationship with my treadmill and my bike. I feel weird if I don't spend time with them every day. And they must love me back, because I look fabulous!

That's awesome! That happens to me quite often, but I still have my babyface. I always say, "Thanks! You can card me anytime you'd like!" I'm turning 50 in October. I don't quite know how that happened...

I have three: a rose on my right shoulder blade, piglet on my ankle (yes, Piglet, Pooh's friend  ) and a heart on my hip. There is a banner running through it with my hubby's name.

49 (50 this year, and hubby is taking me to the Universal Harry Potter park for my birthday), big into sci fi & fantasy (though I prefer fantasy) adore YA lit, I'm an actor, and the biggest geek/nerd I know. :drinker:

I lost all my weight in my own home. I have a treadmill and stationary bike. They've paid for themselves already and if I had a gym membership, I'd still be paying dues or a fee of some sort. And I walk outside, too. That's free!

#killerhair (I was parked. )

26 down, 4 to go. I don't really *need* to lose any more, but it'd be nice to have that buffer.

For me, I've found that keeping up the exercise actually helps get rid of the bloating and cramps. But everyone is different. Experiment and see what works for you. Hang in there.

Today while I was doing my shopping at the grocery store, some guy was checking me out. Granted, he was an old dude, but I suppose I'm old, too. LOL

Rock it, mama!

I started with 2 glasses of water followed by a scrambled egg and a chocolate protein shake.
