What worked for me is not just watching my calories and logging everything religiously, but also running. A lot. Because I like to eat. A LOT! :D I lost the weight I needed to lose and have been in maintenance mode for about a year now. It really is a lifestyle change. I continue to run every day, even if it's just a short…

I love mine. My husband bought me the Charge HR in February, and it really helps to keep me on track. We also got the FitBit Aria scale which also directly links to MFP, as well. They've both been wonderful investments in our health.

Log log log log log log log! I run every day. Whether it''s a mile or two or 10. Park at the back of the parking lot. When I go out to dinner (though we don't do that too much anymore), I immediately order a to go box as the same time as the meal. When the meal comes, I immediately put half of it away in the box. When I…

I drink at least half of my body weight in ounces every day.

But unprofessionalism should be called out to HR anyway. This person should not be in a work environment at all.
-
Slow and steady. I always overestimate my food calories and underestimate my exercise calories. And I run at least 5 miles every day.

Fantastic!

5'1" and I weighed in this morning at 101.4, but that was right after a 9+ mile run. I usually hover around 103ish. I've lost 40 pounds over the last 2 years (slow and steady!), and I'm really happy where I am. Calories to maintain are 1640, but I LOVE to eat, so I run at least 5-6 miles every day.

My husband and I eat a loooooot of fish! There are so many different kinds and so many different ways to prepare, but some of our favorites include: poached salmon salmon en croute baked scallops crab cakes lobster spaghetti grilled swordfish and I even made fish fingers & custard once. :p

5'1" here (if even that, really...) My goal when I started was to lose 20 pounds. I've lost practically 35 and look and feel the best ever in my life! And I did it as a middle-aged woman. I went from 140 at my heaviest to 105.4 as of this morning.
-
I agree with all of this! Also, be CONSISTENT!

I am 5'1" and just turned 50 on Monday! At my heaviest I was 140 and my goal weight was 110. I'm currently hovering around 106/107. I eat 1600ish calories and run every day (mostly). Somedays I just don't feel like it.

I'm 5'1". At my heaviest I was 140. I was on & off MFP for a while before I really stuck to it. I'm now hovering around 107/108. 1200 calories a day for me during my losing stage, and I logged meticulously. And I got off the treadmill and hit the road. With the treadmill, all I ever felt like I was doing was keeping up…

Pfft. I eat well practically all the time. Yesterday, I was craving junk food. So I had it. A fish sandwich & fries. It tasted great. Will I do it again anytime soon? Nope. And I don't feel guilty about it at all. I was still well under my calories for the day. So no biggie.

The Touring Company Soundtrack of The Addams Family musical.

I do, as well. I find I feel better if I drink enough water. And I log it, because it's really easy with MFP, and I like seeing the glass overflow on the app. :drinker:

5'1" 108lbs I'm in a small or a 2/4 Big difference from 140 and an 8/10

Keithm - about 38-40

Dawnieb: I'm guessing about 30.

I never give up my fruits and veggies during my low carb cycles. I love them too much.

I (we) will only cheat maybe once every other month or so now. And it's usually pizza and a bottle of wine.

I'm a Runkeeper gal, myself. Oh, and I'm addicted to running! I'll average about 45 outside miles a week now, sometimes more if I'm feeling particularly ambitious.

I second the "patience, time and diligence" advice. I've been with MFP since 2011. In recent months, I shook up my workout routine and got off the treadmill and started running outside. Recently, I put on a pair of old jeans that I wore during my "pre-fat" phase. Though they fit then, they were still tight around my…

Love it! It's very sexy and also sophisticated. My own husband, when he wears one, has patches of grey in it so that could be why I like it.

Stick with it. It's a process and not a quick thing. Actually the slower you lose weight, the more likely you are to keep it off. If you want to rev it back up, switch up your routine a bit and shock your body. Ride a bike, lift some weights. For no reason at all in the middle of the day, quick do some burpees! Or some…

Hello all! 5'1" (just!) and I hover around 110 now. My initial goal when I started MFP was to hit 115, but I decided to go for the extra 5 as my buffer.

I like a beard on a man that's a bit longer than just a scruffy look. I've always had a thing for men with facial hair.

Seems oddly, sadly appropriate, but I loved Death to Smoochy. And I really don't think it was a bad as people thought. I think people didn't "get" it. Oh, and Starship Troopers. It's bloody awful, but I adore it. It's even better when you're drunk.
