  • I second seeing a physical therapist. I had lower back pain and pelvic pain and 3 months of physical therapy helped me get back to where I should be, although I am still not 100%.
  • Hi! I have 3 kids (10, 4, and 2) with the youngest still nursing. I am working on about 10 stubborn lbs and its so difficult! Please feel free to add me!
  • I'd suggest doing 10 days each level bc from personal experience, I'm mite inclined to give up easily or skip days if I jump into something too hard. Level 2, imo, is the hardest level. I've been doing the shred off and on for nearly 10 years and you can always challenge yourself. Try heavier weights or go a bit faster on…
  • Oops old thread
  • I've used 30DS to lose the extra weight after each pregnancy. I've found that diet and exercise need to go hand in hand with JM for me to get the results I want, but I love it bc it's a short workout I can fit in. It also leads me to do other forms of exercising, like lifting and running. Right now I'm 25 days in (had a…
  • HI mama, you can enter breastfeeding as a food and it deducts calories.
  • Hello. Please feel free to add me. I have 3 children, the youngest who is 2 and still nursing. This is my 3rd battle of the bulge, you can say. I usually hang onto the last 10 until they fully wean.
  • One day of slipping up doesn't mean you've failed. Today is a new day for you to get back on track. I've found that completely depriving myself never helps but that a little indulgence every once in a while manages to keep me sane and more motivated. Sweet tooth? How about fruit or dark chocolate? Salty snacks with a…
  • Be gentle with yourself! Being a mom is hard enough. (((Hugs)))
  • Hi mama. I've bf 3 children, currently still bf my 2 year old 2x a day. Honestly, I didn't really focus on losing weight so early on! I spent the first 12 weeks just enjoying my babies and incorporating some daily walks and lifting into our daily routines. I tried to eat healthier, but felt ravenous for the first few…
  • Hi, I'm 5'1" and trying to lose 5 to 10 more. It's hard for me to say because I'm focusing more so on body recomposition (go away, pudgy midsection!). I eat when hungry most days, and depending on how aggressive my work out is, I will eat a slight portion or all of my exercise calories back.
  • Hi ladies! I have a 2 year old still nurses. Since he nurses only 2 or 3 times a day, I can manage with 1600 to 1800 calories. Please add me if you'd like!
  • Hi! I'm 5'1" and have lost weight after each of my pregnancies. Currently focusing on fat loss and muscle gains so I can be happy with my midsection. With my first 2 children, I focused more on the numbers on the scale (115 was my GW) and did mostly cardio, but now I want to be strong and fit and tighten up after having…
  • How inspiring! You look great!
  • Congratulations on the new baby! I have 3 children, ages 9, soon to be 4, and soon to be 2. First off, be gentle with yourself. Back to back pregnancies and lack of sleep is tough! I'm a total snacker and junk food lover, and it's easier for me to get into a fitness routine than to eat healthy. You're doing great by…
  • What type of exercises are you doing at the gym?

  • My husband has this issue. First, make sure there aren't any underlying health issues that might be causing your inability to gain weight. He had a physical and we ran various blood tests just to be sure. Then we focused on a diet similar to mine for weight loss, but with bigger portions. Lots of vegetables, proteins, and…
  • I did stronglift after my second. I waited 12 weeks because I had lower pelvic pain from lifting heavy.
  • Add me! I had my 3rd in January and it seems like I always ends up at the same weight after I have them. I have to exercise and count calories to lose. I thought it'd be effortless this time because I am nursing my baby and 2 year old. No such luck!
  • I live in new England so I feel your frustrations. I have a 7 year old, a 2 year old, and an almost 2 month old. I work out to Jillian Michaels dvds when I can't get out. I also have a weight room downstairs, but since loading and gaining from pregnancies the past 8 years, I do love my JM videos! Fitness blender and…
  • That is jaw droppingly ahhhh-mazing!!!
  • Exercise actually lessens cramps for me. I suck it up and just do it, although I may not be at my best performance wise.
  • I used to be 5'1" but a recent trip to the doctor revealed that I am now 5 feet and half an inch! I want to be 110 but am focusing more on losing body fat right now. I carry a lot of fat around my midsection.
  • I've donated many times. Eat how you normally eat but stay super hydrated! I donated 8 weeks after having my daughter and while exclusively nursing her. Hydration is key.
  • Feel free to add me too. I am nursing my 16 month old daughter. The weight didn't magically melt away for me at all. It took me 13 months to get back to my per pregnancy weight. I am trying to lose a bit more and firm up my jiggly midsection.
  • Awesome! I am still nursing my 16 month old but did supplement once in a while. Congratulations to you and your baby on reaching this milestone! And wow, what a stash!
  • I wear my glasses to avoid hurting myself. There are specific glasses you can wear while doing sports, etc. so maybe look into those?
  • I bought some mini rice cakes as a healthy snack. I ate the entire bag in one sitting! Over 700 calories!
  • I did baby led weaning with my daughter, who didn't show interest in foods until about 10 months. We skipped cereal (also skipped it with my son 6 years ago) and started with steamed asparagus. My daughter is now 16 months and eats everything we eat. She loves lobster!
