I got mine for under $60 on amazon a few weeks ago. It works pretty well and I have no complaints. I'm only interest in calories burned for accuracy vs. using mfp's estimates. I also like that it beeps if you aren't "in the zone." Having the numbers displayed helps me to push harder and faster on my runs. I love it so far,…

I share your stats! I've been stuck at this weight for a while and was getting discouraged. But then I saw people I hadn't seen in a few weeks and they all kept asking if I lost more weight. Nope, I was the same, but lifting amd some cardio was totally reshaping my body. :) congrats on losing 3% BF...that's a great loss!

I have tears in my eyes from reading this. Congratulations on taking control of your health, your emotions, and congratulations on your newest addition!

Hahah I know the feeling! I was excited too and put them on as soon as I got home. :)

Are you sure you are eating enough? I lift, walk, run and do circuit training (not all in one day, of course) but I end up feeling energized usually, not exhausted. I go to bed at a reasonable time and only feel exhausted when I'm getting sick.

I found some at target. They're black and pink. Which ones did you get?
-
Amazon recommended it to me. I do buy lots of fitness things with my account, but nothing to ever indicate I'm black (since I'm not black). It was really weird seeing it recommended, although I did laugh at the title. Glad you're enjoying it though!

Your stats are very similar to mine. I have been weight training for a few months now, and while the scale hardly moves, I go by measurements. When you are building muscle and burning fat, the scale can easily trick you into thinking you are not making progress. Make sure you are tracking your measurements!

Machines usually overestimate. Invest in a HRM.

Depends on the brand and the stretch of the fabric. I can fit into a size 5 best at about 120 lbs. My waist is 28" and butt 35" ( hello, rectangle!)

I just use the calculator here http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/ Subtract 15 to 20% and then I add 200 calories since my daughter only bf about 3 or 4 times a day. Focus on a diet high in protein and healthy fats.

I set my calories higher, adding in the nursing calories without deducting them at all. This way, my macros remain the same.

7 pounds is great! It took me 13 months postpartum to reach my pre pregnancy weight. I also had diastasis recti so my abdominal region protruded more than it should. I found that pushing myself too hard with exercise made my pelvic region hurt, and too drastic a drop in calories made my supply suffer. So I tried my best to…

Pace yourself! And maybe try the c25k plan. Not only will you learn to run more than a mile, but it trains you in a way where you aren't over exerting yourself continuously. Run, walk, run, walk. I love c25k!

It's considered circuit training. I am not 300+ but I know bigger people find it hard on the knees because of the jumping jacks and similar moves. You can find level 1 on YouTube and try it out, though.

<<-- def not me. I'm at least 30 years older than this gal here!

We have everything at home, bought secondhand on craigslist.

Great job! I plan on starting one of her programs soon. Lifting has also benefited me in many ways post pregnancy.

I just jumped into Stronglift 5x5 and asked my husband to help me with form. We have an Olympic barbell set in our basement so I had everything I needed on hand.

3/6 Level 2 30ds 1.5 mile run outside (<-- in th neighborhood so that qualifies as at home right?) 5 min squats empty Oly bar

I don't drop the bar. We have our weights in our finished basement, and even with the special flooring, I don't want to risk ruining the tiles underneath that. Nothing to do with the exercise at all!

Sleep in your exercise clothes. I'm not talking about baggy sweats and ugly stained tees, but the nice work out clothes you love to put on. Get up and just do it before you can even think about it! I find workouts at home are easier than hauling myself to the gym when I'm exhausted, so I have a plethora of DVDs I use.

I am no longer working but I used to grab a premade all natural juice (like Naked or Bolt House) and add in ground flax. I drank that at my desk and ate 2 hard boiled eggs at home on days I couldn't do oatmeal. As a morning snack, I drank nursing teas and had lactation cookies. I pumped for 10 months, so I understand your…
