You are looking good! Sometimes it takes awhile for our mind to catch up on our weight loss with our body. Keep taking pictures and look at your new pictures often, this will help you with the transition. Once again...you look thin...you look great!!!

I went for 1 lb. per week and in 80 days/11 weeks I have lost 20 lbs. I found that when I entered 2 lbs per week they set my calories so low that I was hungry... at 1 lb. per week I am at calories that don't leave me hungry.

Hi Margaret, I just turned 54 and yes it does take more to lose ( especially after menopause). I have been using this site for just over 75 days though and have dropped 20 pounds without feeling hungry. At weight watchers I always felt hungry... but lost faster ( and gained it back faster. *Realised today that regular portions that I would usually have for supper have been too much to eat for three days in a row... will have to remember this and reduce portion size! (Uncomfortable from eating too much) *Fit into gorgeous jeans that I bought online two years ago ( but that never fit) they fit today! YEA!…

FWIW....My nephew ate alot of these types of frozen dinners as a bachelor (over the period of a year)...he was not trying to lose weight. He ended up with a doctor diagnosed vitamin deficiency. They are okay a couple of times per week, but not as a staple in your diet.

When I hit a plateau...and only then...I cut out carbs and go protein and veggies... no sugars or carbs at all. It seems to work well for me. Otherwise I eat pretty normally... eating everything and just watching the calories.

If you're like me the 18's I wore at the start of MFP were stretched out and tight... they may as well have been 20's or 22's.( But I wouldn't buy bigger than an 18!! ...vanity) I needed to do something.... now 15lbs down and the new 18's actually fit. Don't get discouraged....it will come.

I turn 54 this week and have only started on my wight loss journey. A couple of weeks ago I tore up something in my knee so even walking is a painful chore (although I do what I need to with a knee brace) . So yes I definitely sympathize. Where did you go skiing?

Try a day or two with no carbs..or very little carbs. ( it works in a stall). I would recommend not doing this all the time through as if this becomes a regular thing, when you go back to carbs you will begin to gain back. Just use this when you are stalled out.
