Don't worry about it! I've gotten as far as week 6 of a C25K just a couple months ago, but just this past Monday could not complete the first day of week 1. Definitely listen to the advice to slow down, because today I went much slower and was able to finish it.

When you say low carb, does that mean low processed carbs, or low on fruits & veggies, too?

I know you CAN freeze them with the peel, but I also know from experience they are a PITA to peel while frozen.

My current non-weight goals are to drink at least 10 cups of water everyday and finish my couch to 5k training. Once that's done, I am upping it to a minimum of 12 and to either improve my running time to less than 11 minutes or to do a 5k-10k program. Maybe you could take soup, if you don't mind it cold or have a good thermos to keep it warm. My DD16 takes sweet potato soup for lunch cold anytime I make it.

I don't really think they look GROSS, per se, but I do look at things and think, "That won't taste good enough for the calories." There are a few things I have that thought about lately.

My husband has been working his way from nothing up to a marathon for the last 2 years and can run less than 10-minute miles. It takes him a bit longer for the longer distance, but on his 3-6 mile days he can do it. I've seen people at the 5k events finish in less than 20 minutes.

Don't worry about your time! You will get faster as you go along. Also, a lot of people find that being surrounded by other people at the even causes them to go faster than on their own. Congrats on all you've accomplished so far! I can't even get TO week 7!

I've learned spices (garlic powder, onion powder, etc) have calories. I've also learned that 1-2 m&ms can be satisfying.

It depends on if I've planned ahead. Some stuff, I know already what I'm having. Other times, I'll log after each meal and find after dinner that I'm way under. At least I'm very rarely over. :)

I would start by cutting the mozzarella down to a half pound. Another option is to plan ahead for the day and eat lower cal the rest of the day.

Well, by that thinking then the reason I am not losing weight is most likely because I don't eat enough. Dang.
