Seek professional help, I cant stress this enough. Ive been seeing a cognitive behavioural therapist for my Social anxiety, Health anxiety, depression and my OCD and its helped me so much, I honestly laugh about the fact that I used to try and deal with these things alone.

I've just moved so made the active decision whilst packing to give away all of my clothes that are a Large or > 34inch too charity. That way I will always know if my clothes stop fitting me ive fallen back into old ways.

I have, its a scary prospect when you start shovelling more food in, you will also panic when you see that in the first week you maybe dont lose anything or you have a gain in weight. But keep at it.

There are some many quotes I could pull from my favourite book, I've read 18 times since I was 13. If you haven't read I am legend, please do.

It should be one of the first things he should find out about you. It's not such a big deal really, I have recently dated someone with a child, it didn't work out but that was for other reasons. Any guy who is worth your time and attention won't be bothered by the fact that you have a child.

If you post about your weight/health/fitness on Facebook your gonna have a bad time

Could an alternative to find a picture of someone's figure you would like and print off a picture?

Its very interesting but, i feel people will be thinking they have it as an excuse rather than a genuine medical disorder. So its very unlikely you have it. 1 out of 500....yet Don't think this is the case for 99% of people overweight.

As your bodyfat% drops you will drop around your stomach eventually, for some its the last to go (for me anyway). Unfortunately there is no spot reducing. Id also do general core work to support your other day to day activities. Planking, Crunches, Leg Raises and Stomach vacs.

Or, simply go look at the studies that already exist. On a side note, why the hell do these threads keep happening.

I've had good time with flexible eating. For me the trick is eating well most of the time and then at the end of the day with my left over cals (generally between 400-800) ill use on something nice that fits my macros (ice cream, crisps etc) and my progress has been good and steady.

Make sure your bulk slowly to avoid putting on too much bodyfat, you main gain an odd pound or two but chances are if you haven't lifted before your noob gains will be the majority of the weight increase
-
I just ate 750 cals worth of Mexican Fiery Sweet Chipotle walkers sensations crisps to hit my calories, fooking fantastic.

I don't think it's the issue that people just say 'because its what I enjoy.' Normally it's something along the lines of 'your going to get cancer', 'you can't get all your proper nutrients' or my favourite 'don't have to count the fruit and veg calories'

Solution: make it open source and allow the community to contribute.

I do a lot of my lifting 5x5 put four inches on my chest, 2 on my arms in the last 8 months but I have also been eating slightly over tdee. There are hundreds of arguments on YouTube regarding the hypertophy rep range.
