  • I don't have that specific figure either - I know I would like to get into a healthy BMI range but to me that seems impossible. I know it sounds very very shallow, but I want to look good. If I look good - but ensure that I choose the right paths to get there - I know that I will be healthy. I would say healthy BMI is a…
  • I love the idea of measuring your loss in dogs! I have a JAck russell, an extremely overweight spaniel and a wolf dog - but I think the wolf dog weighs more than I want to lose!
  • Oh so a little bit older then! Bike rides sound good, and walking as well. And maybe even take her shopping - I found I get so many miles in when I shop with my 13 year old niece! Also, see if there's any roller skating around you, I go every week with the 5 oldest and they absolutely love it! And yes, they certainly do!
  • Don't you DARE say it's a small success. Getting off your butt and deciding to make a difference to your life is a huge success - so celebrate it like one! (just not with food, that's never a good idea!)
  • Whoop Whoop UK! I am joining too by the way! Wendy - use the easter holidays as an excuse to get out and play with your kids! It's great at burning calories. I don't have any kids of my own - but as an Aunty to 10 then I know just how great they are at tiring you out! My oldest niece (13) is wanting to do the race for life…
  • Hellooooo Crissy :) I love these challenges so I try to join as many as possible! I am currently 177lbs and I have been told to be a healthy weight I need to be 150lbs, even though I see that as being impossible! My main aim of this is to get fit, and if I get slimmer in the process well that's great! I also have a wedding…
  • Everyone feel free to add me - having active friends who interact with me makes my weight loss so much easier!!!
  • I'd love to have some motivational people! A load of people I was friends with have left so I'm all alone now :( If anyone wants to friend me, feel free!
  • DON'T LET IT GET TO YOU! I used to be the worst at this, I would have one single bite wrong and then BOOM my diet is gone until I feel bad enough about my body to go back on it again. But you just have to think to yourself "Oh well, that was a mistake. Never mind, tomorrow is another day." I am not pretending it's easy,…
  • Blogilates is AMAZING. She has beginners workouts and even a 4 week beginners calender to get you started - she is a registered personal trainer and has won a tonne of awards. You can find her on Youtube, and she has her own website.
  • I find I allow myself one treat a day, and make up for it with more exercise or smaller meals. If I don't do that, I just can't handle it and binge!
  • However, I have been told that takes most of the nutrients out of them. And also, I am supposed to avoid them to prevent my allergy from worstening.
  • May have a tricky one for you - I have an oral allergy to raw Fruits and Vegetables, what would you suggest eating instead? (Sorry, felt like being a bit mean, but it is something that is very difficult for me!)
  • Mines open, I log everything everyday (except water, I can't get my head around what counts as a cup), but bear in mind I am working on being able to eat up to my calorie goal :)
  • 170cm, Large Frame, ideal size 65-64 kg. My Goal weight is 60kg, so I guess I am aiming too low?
  • Hahaha 2 suggestions for peanut butter, and I am deathly allergic to Peanuts! I will try and find a replacement though!
  • I tend to do a very short workout in the morning - about 5-10 minutes of intense activity. As I try to get 60 minutes in a day, I then follow that up with 30 minutes right after work, and another 20 before I go to bed. I find breaking it up a lot easier to get it done and motivated. I do Pilates, by the way (a lot more fat…
  • If it isn't too late, I would like to join Username: Muddyevil Current Weight: 171 Goal Weight: 155 [EDIT] Nevermind, I added myself in on Blue Team.
  • I've been using MFP on and off for a couple years now, I find it a lot easier to lose weight when I have something to keep me accountable, so I would be happy to build up a friends list! :-3
  • Whenever I was stressed, my Grandmother (bless her soul) would make me a sausage sandwich. Now I crave one whenever I am upset! But I find that MFP keeps me accountable, and I am a lot less likely to eat. And I just cheer myself up by playing Video Games ^_^
