Bras, underwear, and swim suits are my issue. I've lost slow and steady but noticed that my fave undies looked... saggy. So, I went to buy more. Let me tell you, I was SO PISSED that they no longer make my fave brand and style! Finding new ones that fit, are flattering and comfortable, and don't cost $14/pair is HARD. I'm…

I like to make limeade or do what the above poster said of diet coke and rum. But I also like to use it in guac, on chicken and fish, for salsa or pico de gallo, in my water, or just sliced and rolled in some rough sugar and suck on them. YUM.

Yup. I always leave calories at the end of the day for my dessert. I do it by planning my meals first around protein then fruit/veg and then only having carbs if I have room. I'd rather have those delicious things as my dessert! For me, it's not been bad. But I imagine if you had a really low calorie goal it would be much…

Well, you could always have a dessert and if you still end up being under cals a few days in a row, allow yourself to have an overall higher calorie day. Maybe to go out for lunch, have your favorite frozen coffee drink, or have a night out. I don't typically do the whole 'banking' calories or calorie balancing, but if it…

The easiest way would be to either cook it in a little oil or butter or dress it with the same. I'm a big fan of the Kraft Olive Oil Mayo. I love real mayo, but this lighter version is just a bit more kick. I love it on chicken or potatoes! You could even add in some garlic and chives and BAM. Great on chicken. Add some…

Exactly my thoughts.

My biggest thing is the measuring. When I first started, I wanted to use cups, tablespoons, etc. Well... those can be terribly off on the most random of things. My suggestion is to get a food scale and start weighing out your food. After a while, it gets to where you don't have to do most fruit and veg, but anything really…

So.. it would depend on what you are trying to accomplish. Are you trying to get rid of bread or are you trying to cut carbs? And are you taking other things like nutrient density, fiber, satiety, etc., into account. I guess I'm asking for you to clarify what it is you are hoping to accomplish?

You don't need a supplement. Most of them (not all, but most!) are garbage. And even if they do work, only work short term which basically defeats the purpose. What I do is spread my cals out over the day to always include an evening snack. If you're at 1400, that means you could do 350 at your main meals and then still…

I just saw this in a vid on youtube after I was watching myself squat. I was thinking hey, that's a great idea! I think my issue is I have slight scoliosis. So, I always have a hip issue. I think the compensation is that I sink that one knee in. I also think that I wasn't going deep enough so I'm going to go bare bar for a…

Well, I'm still losing so not sure if I will have this issue. BUT, I have a friend who did and it took surgery for it to be greatly improved. She lost over 60lbs. and then went in for a tummy tuck. When they did her tummy tuck, they did some lipo there. She had already lost the excess and was smack dab in the middle of…

Not gonna lie. It's bacon. I'd smell it then try it. LOL And if it was good.... you'd pry it out of my cold, dead fingers!
-
Yup. I log it! Mostly so I can see how I'm spreading out my food in the day. If I didn't log them, then I may look back say, one month and go hmmm... why was I eat 400 cals at breakfast and then only 200 at lunch? Surely I didn't eat JUST a chicken breast with salsa and sour cream with some cheese? Plus, even though…

Oh, she wasn't checking it. I was having an adjustment, and after we got to talking. She asked how things were going with our plans to move, working out, etc. and I told her that all was good except for this. And she said, hmmm... sounded like form to her. Her suggestion was to work on form and if I had any other issues to…

I count a day as the time period I'm awake -- not the actual time on the clock. Like right now, it's after midnight and I've had a snack but that still goes on my Saturday's intake vs. my Sunday intake. I would do the same with exercise. In the grand scheme, it doesn't matter, but I do it that way because that's what works…

I would just go when you feel comfortable. Or buy a treadmill. I got a deal on one on clearance and I love it -- especially in winter here. You could probably find a used one. But if you like going outside, don't worry about what others think and do what you need to do for you.

I guess it depends on what you are wanting to accomplish and how you are wanting to get there. Years and years ago when I first started trying to lose weight, it was always just a diet and I would do it for a few months, lose, and then slowly but surely, gain it back. Over time, I have learned that I don't need to diet. It…

For me, it's this. I actually had someone tell me I would never be 'healthy' or 'fit' if I didn't eat clean. I respected this person and it REALLY hurt my feelings as I've managed to lose 50lbs. AND keep it OFF with no real yo-yoing. For me, that means I'm much healthier and more fit than before because I've stuck it out.…

Meh. No biggie. If you think about it over a period of time rather than just one day, that helps a lot. So, you went over by what, 1800? Divide that by 7 and you have right at 257 or over two weeks that is about 129 or over a month that is only about 64. So in the grand scheme, not much. If you don't do this often, then no…

I NEED all of those. My belly says so.

Soo... what you just described sounds like what happens to me when I eat too much dairy with high levels of lactose. However, yogurt and cream cheese (both fairly low) rarely bother me. But I get this weird burning sensation and then the cramping and then I'm in the bathroom with the sweats. It is NOT pretty. But it never…

Canned tuna! When that stuff is on sale, I load up! (Less than a dollar a can!) Same with canned chicken or even canned beef. Beef jerky is really good, too. If you have access to a fridge, Greek yogurt is awesome. Once in a while, you can find protein bars online super cheap and I really like certain ones. But it's about…

1) Talenti Sea Salt Caramel Gelato. 2) Chocolate mini muffins with a big cup of coffee. YUM 3) Talenti Sea Salt Caramel. 4) Skinny Cow Limited Edition Snickerdoodle ice cream sandwich 5) Talenti Southern Butter Pecan Gelato (still super love this one!) 6) Single serve angel food cake bundt with cherry sauce and then 1…

YUM. OH THE YUMMMMMM!

You don't need to cut fat or eat raw. From looking at your diary really quick, a couple of things struck me right off of the bat. Your cals bounce around a lot from day to day and I'm guessing that is from exercise. Have you thought of looking into the TDEE method? I would look into that and that way your cals are more set…

I didn't love the Caramel Cookie Crunch. It's good, just not my fave. I'd probably rate my top 3 as the Southern Butter Pecan, Salted Caramel and PB cup...... but the order is different every other day! HA!

Thanks! They are starting to feel good now that I've 2 entire weeks off lifting. *GRUMBLE* It's been nothing but cardio, stretching, ice, heating pads, and chiro. With some Ibuprofen thrown in for good measure. I'm seriously glad it was nothing major other than some twisting. Not even sure what caused it.

I have several go to's, and Fage is my yogurt of choice for plain yogurt due to the high protein content and the fact that it can be sweet OR savory. For sweet, I buy the All Fruit (buy Polaner) or the ED Smith all fruit preserves. I use one container of the Fage (6oz), then 3 or 4 tbs. of the preserves, and I crumble on a…

Well, I only paid $15 for it at Costco so for me it was a cheapy! LOL I really am sorry -- I know it's frustrating!
