  • My goal is to get some kind of exercise or physical activity everyday for at least 30 minutes. But usually it's a good week for me if i get in 3 days of full body weights (usually takes 45 mins) and 2 days of cardio intervals (usually takes 20-30 minutes).
  • Have you tried exercises that focus on the stomach muscles that pull in your core as opposed to working the typical 6 pack muscles and obliques? I think planks and cat vomit exercise helps with that. Also, reformer pilates. The mat pilates is ok but not as good.
  • I think it is harder because you losing 10 lb at 100 lb (just an example) is a higher % of your overall body weight than 10 lb at 150 lb. Basically you're losing 'more' of your body. Also, the smaller you get, the less fat there is to lose. Even if you lose weight, your bones and organs stay the same weight!
  • Maybe I do need to lose more weight then. I don't know how I can get a real body fat % measurement... I tried looking up some bodpod places on the internet but it didn't yield any results that weren't super expensive.…
  • i'm not sure what my body fat % is but i am guessing under 25% just based on pics on the internet. i'm more concerned about the actual look of flabbyness on my legs as opposed to the size. the size is too big but i figure there isn't much i can do about it because i naturally have thick muscular legs. they don't look too…
  • It seems like the answer might be more cardio and continuing to lose weight via dieting.
  • The folds and rolls are around my knees. And also when I bend my legs my thigh gets a couple folds. I have seen the same folds on other overweight women. Also my thighs chafe so much I have to apply special cream during summer if I wear a skirt or dress. I don't think I have to post pics, haha.
  • Yes but I am not overweight and never have been. I don't think my body would feel in danger of crushing my organs at this point? Just like how typically normal weight men don't usually get moobs.
  • I guess I just have to continue losing weight. I imagine I am losing a little muscle but trying my best to preserve it with lifting still. It's just that it is so hard for me to lose weight with my current weight. It took months to lose 5 pounds. I do think I have an accurate idea of what my legs look like. The folds and…
  • I'm a fan of kettle bells too but I've never done them for a long period of time. I truly hate running but I guess if that's what it's going to take I'll do it. How long and how often? Steady state or intervals?
  • I mentioned in OP I'm doing new rules of lifting right now. I have done that routine before and other similar types (full body heavy weights with compound movements). I have also done crossfit here and there. Been weight lifting since I was 21. I've taken some couple month breaks here and there to try new things but I…
  • I already do squats and dead lifts and have been for years. I can squat my own body weight. It has helped me gain a lot of leg muscle (not something I particularly like) but has done nothing in helping my legs look more toned.
  • Yes I've always been on the smaller side. When I was 118 a few months ago that was the heaviest I have been in my life. I am pretty sure it is not excess skin. It feels like fat if I pinch it.
  • I eat pretty healthily. I rarely eat fried or junk foods. I don't avoid things like avocado or olive oil but I don't eat them everyday. I don't need supermodel legs but I can't imagine I am stuck with rolls and folds on my legs when I'm at my current weight. I'm not the most lean person ever but I don't have abnormal folds…
