Oh and it tastes good toasted a bit.

You're welcome Foami. And I've been noticing that too

Highest weight 97kg SW 5:2 86kg CW 57-58kg My goal is 54-55kg, which is the middle of my healthy bmi range. I have a pretty muscular build and am already quite happy at 57kg, so I won't be going lower. 54 will just give me a bit of wiggling room. Why? Because I've always been fat and was never happy about it, but i never…

Now I've got that song jumping around in my head ☺ 1.5h and I'll be at my destination. I'm in the train to Graubunden. Which a a big mountainous Kanton in the south east of Switzerland. And a nice lady from the tourist info just walked by offering a piece of a local sausage . Only happens here! Now into the 20k tunnel....

Thanks Sijomial - and I already looked younger than I am to begin with. What does that make me now...a teenie?? :p Absolutely jknight001. The makeover in November was a revelation. I got made over inside and out ;-) Now I wish you peops a beautiful rest of the week. I'm off to bed. Up early tomorrow and off to the…

In case anyone is interested in a high protein / low carb bread. Just made this. It's not half bad ;-) Almond and Seed Bread (750g) 6 large Eggs (separate yolks and egg whites) 250g low fat quark (I used Skyr, Icelandic milk product with high protein / low fat) 1 tsp salt (I will reduce this next time, too salty for me)…

Thanks, bburg86! Slow is fine. I lost quickly at the beginning and it slowed the less I had to lose. Thus the long maintainance phase. I'm still getting to know this new person and I know without 5:2, I wouldn't have gotten to this point. And 5:2 is my tool to stay at a healthy weight for the rest of my life. Daily…

Hmmmm YESSSS!! For me at least! Only sustainable way for me to go. I lost 29kg in one year. Hit a normal BMI for the first time in my life in January 2014. Pics show me in May 2013 compared to May 2014 and November 2014. I've been maintaining since May 2014 and am now attacking my last 3kg in 2015. BMI now 23-24 / 5'1…

Bundles are packed and fast day done... I ended at 600 because I backed a recipe for a LCHFHP bread, I discovered a while back. Had to taste it...with the almonds, eggs and lots of different seeds in it, it isn't low cal. But at 16% protein and just 3% flour it's worth it. Was yummy fresh out of the oven. Will see how it…

Will be interesting to hear your findings. I'm practicing eating without distractions (TV, Internet). I do notice my mouthfuls are smaller and I actually realize, what I've eaten, if the computer or the TV are off......

Life is not black and white, and I also haven't read the book ;-) Will you sell me the secrets, Foami, when you find the answer? I'm on the exact same 3 last kg....since May 2014. OK, I just ate more than my share on non fast days, I'm not kidding myself on that. I hadn't had a proper fast in a very long time either. I…

Oh Snaps....yeah goodie runs on fast days often turn bad. Eat normally today and try again tomorrow?? Which is why I'm contemplating going shopping this evening instead of tomorrow.... One more fast planned tomorrow before I leave for four days with the possibility of breaking into a new kilo bracket on Thursday morning.…

Yay, Twelvesticks is here!! A win in my book! You should have heard of it. I think, I've even posted some food porn on the fb page ;-) As I said to lulu....if ever in Switzerland..... However, she cooked Indian last Sunday, and told me nothing about it until after the fact :'( Next time!

OK just googled it. http://www.silverspoon.co.uk/products/healthier-choices/low-calorie-sugars/half-spoon-granulated-sugar It is mixed with a wee bit of sweetener, but the tesco page also shows 400cals/100g. Because it's mixed with a sweetener, I would assume, you only need half the amount to attain the same sweetness,…

@jknight001 - When he said, what was coming, I was like, hmm can I do that?? They were at an incline hands on the rebounder, so less weight on the arms, but more need for balancing do to the trampoline. 5 in a row, both sides were good. Don't think, I could have done many more in the same series. But my form was good, abs…

Good job JJA14! Looks like you have some workouts to look forward to! I love the variety. Is fun and uses all different aspects of the body.
-
@Jknight001 - nice job on the fast and the workout! There were two manly things in that rebounder video....plank pushups with one raised leg (was a first, but went well) and he kept adressing me with gentleman the whole time ;-) The rest was similar to what I do on another unisex video. Oh and weigh ins....definitely…

Carbi - I live in an apartment too and can hear my neighbor flip the light switch.... I put my rebounder on these 1.2cm thick puzzle tiles made for working out on. They work as noise insulation and dampen the impact, when doing jumps. Two in one so to speak. I got both the floor tiles and the rebounder on a swiss ebay like…

You know what they say about great minds, Snaps ;) Without trying to sound immodest....that men's workout on the rebounder was pretty easy.... I may modify it by using my weights for more of the exercises than the trainer does.

I only have a garmin hrm. I have a very cheap step counter, that I haven't used in a while. For me it is of more interest to track my workouts, than my daily life. But if a fit bit motivates you, all the better!

Lunch today: 130g cod filet with lemon curry spice, stir fried spring onion with a bell pepper. Yummy. Dinner today: Leftover very chunky spaghetti sauce (ground chicken / coco beans / carrot / bell pepper / tomato) Could go through as a chili with italian herbs in it. Evening Snack: Skyr with some chia seeds and cinnamon

It's 15h and I'm about at half time on my fast today. Closet is up and filled with my shoes, and hmmm BOOTS, mirror hanging, power tools put away, printer wifi installed, floor mats cleaned and ready for my next indoor workout, lunch eaten. Might save the trip to the shopping center and recycling for Wednesday and do a…

Time for new batteries, Snaps. The digital scales do that, when the power is low ;-)

Oh my SB went totally past me....wasn't a fan when living in the US and don't think they aired it here as there was a big snowboard event on the TV. Chiccam awesome loss!! And your next goal is pretty big too. Have fun training for the tri!

Go out with your pony tomorrow. That should lift your spirits.

I lost my period after 12mth of losing weight. I was still at the upper end of my healthy BMI at that time and had lost about 20kg. After losing a few more kilos (BMI 23.5 now) and maintaining for 6-8mth my period reappeared in December 2014 and January 2015. The timing is still a bit off (cycle too long) but length and…

That is very important. I think, it also depends on how quickly you gained the weight and where you carry it. Mine was mainly on my front torso and I gained most of it in a few years during my teen years and kept it on 30yrs. I've gone from 97kg to 57kg on a 157cm frame. My skin has wide stretch marks and I have quite a…

Uff...almost found an excuse not to, but I got my a** up and did 60min on my rebounder. A bit of cardio, a bit of strength, alot of core work :p ;-) Fast day tomorrow and I'm off work, so I made a list of things, that need to get done. Will be drilling some holes in the wall tomorrow, fixing up my little workout corner and…
