If you need to lose 125 lbs, you definitely are ok to lose 2 lbs a week. Honestly, if you're not starving on what youre eating now, you're probably fine in general.

Bmi is really only helpful if you're very average height and build at 4'11" you are neither of those things. If you feel healthy and your doctor thinks so too I wouldn't worry about it

my sister, my nephew and my birthday are all within a month of each other.What we did was make fruit pizza for my sisters(hers is first), had normal birthday cake for my nephews birthday (he just turned one and it only happens once a year) and we're going to do frozen yogurt for mine in a couple weeks.

My mom started out by simply just walking in place every place she went where we had to stand for even a few minutes. It helped her lose over 20lbs, you could try that.

I lost about 5 pounds before joining MFP but wanted to see how "bad" I was really eating so I joined to track my calories and have stayed thanks to the awesomely supportive community.

I think to start out and just log every single thing you eat is an awesome idea. It will help you see where you're going wrong and personally at first it helped me to see that I was honestly making more good choices than bad but there was definitely things I needed to work on.

Eating out with friends every once in a while isn't going to kill you, especially if you're doing really well at home. Try lessening it to one a week or only have it certain places such as a restaurant. In reality one coke every once in a whole wont kill you. I read a book called What to Eat by Marion Nestlé. It's super informative and easy to understand. Micheal Pollan is another great author to check out
