I am not crazy picky but do have a hard time with vegetables. I have found that eating the same ones that I like or can tolerate over and over is better than not eating any at all. Good luck!

I have a hard time with breakfast as well (bec of time, not because I don't like to eat it) My go to meals recently: 1. Cliff bar and milk 2. Dried apricots and low fat string cheese 3. Greek yogurt and berries

So good. My favorites are: Spinach and feta Avocado and salsa Mushroom, ham, onion and swiss

I have this problem too! Mostly I just plan for some extra calories when I know I am going to drink. Willpower leaves me after maybe 2 drinks, lol (I don't drink very often so don't hold my liquor well!!)

I have been here for some time too but am "back on track" for just a couple weeks now and trying to make some new friends. Feel free to add me and a good weekend to you as well.

It has helped me to not think of this as a "diet" but as a life style change (I am starting over again and have my days where I go over as well!) When I have a diet mind set and have a bad day I am more likely to think "well the whole week is blown, next week will be better" That is a pretty poor attitude! When I think of…

Hi! Sharing a kitchen can be a pain but can be done. When you buy healthy foods (chicken, fish, veggies, fruit) right when you get home divide them up into serving size portions and freeze them (or just in the fridge for veggies/fruit). I find I am much more likely to take a healthy lunch if it is easy to just grab a bag…

You look amazing!!! Keep it up and congrats girl!

So frustrating! Take a deep breath and do something else for yourself today. You can do this :)

These both sound weird but are really good. Peanut butter and mayo (introduce to me by a family friend). Peanut butter and chicken or turkey lunch meat (honey smoked flavor is best) my husband ate this for months before I would try it. So good!

Thank you for sharing! It is so nice to see women who have lost a lot of weight share :) Very encouraging!!

eggs, meat on sale to freeze, frozen veggies, beans, rice, milk Soups, stews and chilli are great things to make on a budget (and you can use more veggies, less meat to save money)

Welcome back to MFP :) Consider asking your doctor if it is safe for you to take melatonin. It is a natural supplement that aids with sleep. I take it because my antidepressant causes me sleep problems as well. Good luck!

Congrats, that is great news!!

Hi, I am 25 years old with just over 100 pounds to lose. I am a student right now so spend a lot of time at a desk studying  My diary is open and I try to log everyday! Add me if you would like!
-
Hi! I log everyday and enjoy being on the boards when I can. Feel free to add me :)

I seriously laughed so hard! I understand completely though. This is tough but you can do it :)

so sorry to hear about your mom! Try to take a little time for yourself even though you take care of her. You have to be well to be your best for her!

you look so great :) and happy!!

I have a brother in the military so have heard about those darn fitness tests :( Have you seen a doctor to make sure all your hormones are back to normal after your pregnancy? That can effect weight loss!
-
Amazing! thanks for sharing :)

Processed food has a lot of sodium and for some people causes them to retain water weight even if they are eating at a deficit.
-
Welcome :) and congrats on your upcoming graduation!

Ditto to what other people said, talk to your doctor. Also, make sure you are taking a multi vitamin now. You need proper folate before you get pregnant and in early pregnancy to prevent certain birth defects :)
-
I like this and everything else you said :) I am a medical student and also sometimes wonder about getting involved in some of these threads where people are going crazy, lol. Glad a doctor put their two cents in this time.
-
I really admire your attitude!! You have made a great plan and I think you can and will stick to it :) Have a great time and in the future good luck with the surgery!

Depending on where you live Qdoba is another one that offers healthier options (I think they are similar to Chipotle). I love their corn salsa!
