Why is it not practical? Why is eating non-processed foods not practical? All calories are not the same. Eat 1200 calories of crap, and I promise you you won't look or feel the same as you would eating 1200 calories of fruits, lean protein, and veggies.

When we go on vacation I always choose a hotel/resort that has a gym that way I can still get in a workout! Also, just be mindful of your choices of food when eating out. Of course allow yourself a cheat or two but don't do it every day. It is possible to eat 'clean' even when on vacay! :)

I've done a lot of 'Meatless Monday's" and it's tricky. The goal is to avoid ALL animal products which can be tough. I usually just eat a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables. I can't view your diary but based on what you're saying, you're eating too few calories per day and you're putting your body in 'starvation mode' which slows up your metabolism and makes you hold on to stored fat. You need to increase your caloric intake to at least 1200 calories per day.

Listen to your body. I usually try to rest one day a week and even on my 'rest day' I'll walk the dog for a mile or two, or take a leisurely bike ride with my daughter and my friend. But when my body tells me to rest, I rest.

I'm an avid runner, I run 6 days a week, 3 miles each day, even on my cycle and I don't have any problems. I just always make sure I have a fresh tampon inserted right before my run.

I know when I exercise during my cycle I have less to zero cramps and my flow is lighter and not as long. Don't let PMS keep you from achieving your goal! ;)

Add more fresh fruit and veggies to your daily diet! Eat organic as much as possible. When I want a treat ie cookies, cake, I bake it myself (from scratch) that way I control what goes in it..

That's what I'm referring to. If you look at her Diet Diary she is eating a lot of fried foods and sugar, too much to reach her goals. I love fried foods and sugar but I eat them in moderation, not every day.

Cutting back on fried foods and sugar will get you to your goal a lot faster and more efficiently. But hey, DO YOU! :)

@SideSteel. I disagree.. Fried foods and too much sugar will wreak havoc on any weight loss goals therefore the TYPE of fuel used is as important as the AMOUNT.

Also, looking at your food diary, you may want to cut back on the sugar intake! Even though you're under calories, the overage in your sugar intake can still cause you to retain weight!
