I work out about 6:30... come home shower, and go to bed. I usually eat dinner before i go to the gym. How does that effect the after burn?

you don't just learn them in 3rd grade, i am teaching them in 7th grade. we are going on week three of "troublesome word pairs!" :)
-
But burning 2100 calories will help with that!

i burn a little over 100 calories for 8 minutes that I run. 3 miles, 35 minutes is about 450 calories for me. Everyone is different :)

The machines are always quite a bit lower for me! i would go with the HRM regardless.
-
Not that I care, but I have a feeling this is going to cause some problems ;)

Personally, no matter WHAT kind of shoes and socks I wear I always have running blisters. Some shoes/socks make them worse than others though.

http://www.whfoods.com/foodstoc.php?PHPSESSID=486132d2056dc076ffae74fa30c88e32 this has a lot of interesting information about almonds and their "good fat"

A little off topic but-- I saw a post a few days ago about HRM. From what I read the HRM does not factor in your BMR that mfp already includes. So, when i figured it out for me, i burn about 30 calories an hour doing nothing (bmr) so i subtract that 30 from my HRM amount when i work out so that I am not counting the same…

And thats when they come to me!

Almonds are the best nut to eat. They are high in fat (good fat), but also protein and fiber. Check the back of the bag and make sure the mfp calories are correct. Eat almonds, but in moderation :)

I had one from walmart, that was only about 20 dollars. I think it was very inaccurate. You had to take your own heart rate every few minutes by pressing a button. Sometimes it wouldn't find the heart rate. Also it would say i burnt 3-400 calories MORE than my strap one says.

I eat chocolate fiber bars. They are about 140 calories, taste pretty good, and give me the chocolate fix i gotta have. We have similiar goals and started out at about the same weight, feel free to add me if you want!!
-
I think so too. I would leave it at 1300 with eating back (some) of your exercise calories.

3500 calories = 1 pound. high sodium may cause water retention. Also, if you are not used to drinking a lot of water and have recently been drinking an increased amount that could be part of it. It will even out.

I drink ensure a lot for breakfast. It is not meant for weight loss (the bottle actually says to gain/maintain weight) But, they taste pretty good, and are pretty healthy. A bottle has 250 calories (i try to keep a meal at about 300) and are filling.
