I'm inherently lazy

It doesn't matter as long as you weigh at the same time each week for consistency. I weigh Friday evening when I get home from work.

No I didn't think I would reach my goal when I first signed up. Then when i reached my first goal i realised I should put more faith in myself . I set a second, more ambitious goal and reached that too  You can do it, just keep going, one day after another.

Great post. You can do this, just keep going. I wish you all the best

I've gone from a tight 36DD to a 34B but obviously the rest of me is smaller too so they've stayed in proportion. I hear you about the underwear though, last month I had to stop stalling and spent a small fortune on bras and knickers that fit.

This week marks my 1 year MFP anniversary. I have lost 52 pounds in 52 weeks

You look great! Well done. 3 is my favourite but you are rocking them all

I don't have a cut off point. I snack in the evenings and if I fancy something right before I go to bed I have it.

I like to snack in the evening, I always save a couple of hundred calories.
-
I work out a couple of hours after my evening meal, usually around 8 or 9 pm. I'm not a morning person so it works out best for me and hasn't affected my sleep, actually I sleep better when I've been out for a run.

I do most of the cooking but my husband makes the occasional meal. When I first asked him to weigh/measure everything and make a list as he went along he huffed a bit but over time he realised how important it was to me and how well it was working and now he does it without complaining.

I think it's a personal choice. I'm not a morning person so I rarely eat breakfast, I feel ill if I eat within a few hours of getting up. My husband however wakes up hungry and gets irritable and light headed if he doesn't eat. So just go with whatever feels right for you.

If all you were eating was fruit and veg then yes you'd have to eat a lot of it to gain weight. But your body can't tell where the calorie surplus comes from so if you're 200 calories over, it doesn't matter whether those calories came from pizza or bananas, you'd still be at a surplus. I eat plenty of fruit but I always…

I log all the ingredients separately. So for mashed potato I weigh/measure and log the potatoes, the butter and the milk. I tend to buy the same brands so the first time I log something I check the info on the packet then I don't need to do this again as the correct one will be in my recent items tab.

I haven't given up bread, or any food for that matter. Portion control is key, as long as you have a calorie defecit you will lose weight.
-
I don't worry about carbs, some days I'm over but as long as I have a calorie defecit I lose weight.

I did C25K soon after joining MFP last summer and found it to be fantastic. The first session I thought I was going to die  but now I run 3 times a week and am fitter than I've ever been. Number one tip is go slow. There's no such thing as too slow, I used to run slower than I walked!
-
Great progress, well done! And 20lbs is not a small success, it's a pretty major one! Fantastic

Late evening, usually 8 or 9 pm.

Find the balance that you can live with for the rest of your life.

glasses of wine

Yes, I eat everything in moderation and follow MFPs calorie goals. It really does work
-
I just turned it off so it doesn't post on the newsfeed.
-
You look fantastic! All your hard work has paid off, well done

Fantastic

It's pretty cold here today so I had Chilli Bean Soup to warm me up. Followed it with some grapes.

You absolutely can do it. Make an effort every day and over time you will see the weight coming off. I didn't think I would ever lose this much when I first started, it just shows if you stick with it, it works. Be patient and keep going, it's so worth it

Probably your muscles retaining water to repair themselves. Stay hydrated and it should drop off in a couple of days.
