Don't mean to get overly personal but are you as regular as usual? If not, that causes bloating. I felt awfully bloated last week for that reason. Even my shoes were tight.

OK - I relent and will look for one with a strap. What is the consensus on the model? Polar F-4 or F-6 or F-11? I'm not a big athlete. I mostly want it for the calorie counting for everyday tasks and walking. I'm trying to build up my running time but I'm so out of shape that it's physically painful!

I'm thinking strap-free would be best especially if I just want to throw it on for a short time to measure short tasks like cleaning and walking the dog. What do you experts think? That strap looks annoying.

Thanks. Just found a strap free monitor by Oregon Scientific (SE138) that is around $60 but they are out of stock. Anyone use this one or this company?

I've been getting TONS of fiber (40 g a day) plus plenty of water yet it's not moving me as it should and I feel bloated. I forgot to mention that the salad is 225 calories. You can substitute bulgar wherever you would have used rice. It's more filling too.
