This won't be very helpful but different people tend to reach/remain in ketosis at different levels of macros. I don't do Atkins, but I know you can buy stips or something that will tell yiu if you're still in Ketosis. If you really want to keep the protein bars in your diet and do Atkins as well, it might be worth your…

Depends what you like to spend your time doing! Personally, I have solely been working on getting strong this year and seeing that progress is whaylt motivates me generally, where when I included more cardio, eventually I didn't look forward to my sessions so much, and I was a lot less consistent. Do you have a preference?…

Hey, I just wanted to add a personal side note which might help. After I had lost about 7kg my progress halted for about 3 weeks even though I was eating right and working out 5 days a week...then...wooosh lost almost 3 kilos overnight. Just remember the scales are an imperfect tool.

Is there anything in particular you are worried might interfere with your motivation?

I had a bit of a break counting calories over christmas and its been 3 weeks now trying to get back on track but I'm going crazy on weekends. As in eating over maintenance, by alot. All I can attribute it to is having a 1000cal deficit every day during the week. This week I'm going to aim for 750cal daily deficit and see…

195 is the max heart rate for my age and my personal trainer was always very happy when I got into the 190's on the stair machine. Only difference I guess is that we only do that high intensity for maybe 2 minutes at a time.

It used to make me horribly embarrassed until I got back to the size I was before I gained tons. someone said before, and its the same with me, as soon as I say I work out 6 days a week theyre not really interested anymore.

this was happening to me for 6 weeks (I weight the same as you) and then in the ladt 2 days I dropped 1.5kg. I dont know if i was tracking in accurately. My deficits some days were very high (like 1000cal or more) but there were also several days in a row where I ate too much because it was making me depressed. All I can…

After 2 years of trying to lose weight I only really stopped binge eating when I started working out consistantly (5 days a week)
