I don't get full from normal person meals either. I just eat one or two gigantic meals a day to remedy this problem.

Well. That depends. Are you using a heart rate monitor, or relying on what the machine/myfitnesspal tells you as far as how many calories you burned? If the former, you can feel confident eating all of them back. I use a heart rate monitor, eat every last bit, and lose weight just fine. But if you're using machine/MFP…

Ah, that clears things up. Yes, I had issues with eating disorder behavior while trying 5:2 so I always warn people about that when they want to try it. Definitely not for everyone, but some people have great success and no problems.

Obviously your coworker is starving himself, which he can do eating too little calories all day long or eating too little calories all at once. IF does not make you starve, starving makes you starve. Love, A proud eater of 1700 calories after 6 PM.

It's like porn, I know it when I see it. I can't say "when you see ribs sticking out" because I have a large ribcage and have visible ribs at a BMI of 21 and body fat percentage of 20%. Definitely not underweight or under fat, that's just how my body is. Can't say a certain size because some women are just very petite but…

I'm still losing the last few pounds, but I'm planning on continuing while I maintain. It's just how I eat at this point. I usually consume all of my calories between 6:30 and 8:30 PM.

I used to be over 200 pounds and could burn 800 calories in the time it now takes me to burn 300. :/

It took me 6 months to lose 60 pounds, and it has taken 8.5 months to lose 78. I believe my weight loss is considered quite rapid for someone not very obese, I was just extremely consistent.

This. I participated in a guess my weight thread on another message board and asked if I appeared thin or average at 5'5" and overwhelmingly was told I look average, about 110 pounds. 20 pounds lighter than I am, and 110 is underweight for my height. People don't know what a healthy weight is or what a healthy weight looks…

I went from a 38GG to a 32E. So they are still proportionally large, but I did lose a lot of volume. I have a lot of loose skin there, but fortunately only my boyfriend and I see my boobs and neither of us really care. They look fine when I'm just standing there, but if you grab them there is a lot of excess wrinkly skin.

Yeah, probably not enough vegetables. Try to get AT LEAST 4-5 servings, if not more. You're probably managing two, three on a good day.

It can be perfectly healthy to eat that many calories late in the day. I eat all my calories (1300-1800 depending on exercise) after 6 PM. See my ticker. It's fine. Eat your calories.

If you're feeling this way, you're probably depriving yourself too much. Treats are fine in moderation! As long as it fits in your calorie goal, it's fine to eat it. Also if you are very hungry, you may have your calorie intake set too low.

Cook your own food from scratch and you'll find your sodium intake drops dramatically. Source: former Healthy Choice addict turned home cook.

Do it. If you don't lose weight, cut 500 more. Still not losing weight? Cut 500 more. Weigh your food, measure your liquids, log everything to ensure accuracy.

I eat a LOT of vegetables. You can eat a huge volume of them without consuming that many calories. Half a kilo of broccoli is only around 150 calories, 6 cups of baby lettuce blend is 60 calories, etc. Use that to your advantage.

I don't know, IS half a pound a week ideal for you? You need to make that decision for yourself. Are you okay with losing slowly? Are you okay with not seeing large losses from week to week? Are you able to stay motivated with a slow weight loss? That's up to you. I will always advocate slower over faster, but it's a…

I did it in high school. It taught me nothing about how weight loss is achieved or how to maintain my loss. I ate the horrible food until I was skinny, went off the diet and onto college, and promptly regained everything. Not worth the money. Tastes bad, not terribly wholesome food, and you don't have to think about what…

I am not motivated every day. Hell, I'm not motivated today. I really would love to order a large pizza and eat the whole thing myself, followed by half a gallon of chocolate peanut butter ice cream. But what's more important to me? Pizza and ice cream or health, longevity, a healthy weight, a good body? The latter. Pizza…

Stop letting yourself get bored. Read a book, crochet a hat, go for a walk, learn Spanish, look at videos of funny cats on the internet, whatever will make you not bored.

I own and comfortably wear three articles of clothing that are size extra small. WHAAAAT?!

If you're having trouble, liquid calories can be your friend. Protein shakes, fruit juice, milk, etc all easy to get down and have plenty of calories.

Geez. How did you not end up in a corner weeping from the hunger pangs? :S First meal I had two whole eggs and one egg white scrambled with coconut oil and spinach with two slices of bacon and three slices of turkey breast. Second meal I had an acorn squash roasted with cinnamon and nutmeg, three zucchini oven roasted with…

A cup can be stuffed, level, loosely packed, heaping, etc. 100 grams is always 100 grams. Stick with the scale.

Did you start exercising? Are you measuring, or preferably weighing, your portion sizes? Are you putting in your own recipes, or using generic database entries?

It's just what I prefer. I still eat the same number of calories as I would be if I were eating throughout the day, but I just prefer to have it all at once. Why? For one, I don't have to worry about stopping and eating or bringing food along with me throughout the day. Makes my life easier in that way. After a while, your…
