Furrealz! You are amazing, and look SO happy and healthy :) I just wanna send you some sexy jeans so you can really show off your body, haha.

Don't worry about the scale! It sounds like you're doing well :) Start working on a routine that you can stick w on a regular basis...the weight will come off. Just keep in mind that this us a lifestyle change, not a race to lose pounds.

Wish for the ability to fly. And burn 1 billion calories/hr doing so :D What's your biggest pet peeve?

My sister and I are 11 months apart, and she's my best friend. If she noticed me getting out of control or being irresponsible, I would definitely want her to call me out on it. Im not afraid to offend her, and hope she's not afraid to offend me. Maybe your sister needs a wake up call? I hope I can rely on my loved ones to…

1300ish, I don't eat back exercise calories unless it's something particularly hardcore :) Mostly I go on short runs, do bikram yoga, and go hiking. Im in grad school, so most of my day is spent sitting around reading/writing :P When Im more active, I can up that to at least 2,000 and still lose weight.

I hate hate reclined hero, and have no idea why! It doesn't hurt in a "my muscles are stretching way," but in a, "something is off with my body right now" way. Im not sure if it hurts my lower back or my knees, but I always do Camel or Child's Pose instead :) I also dislike floor bow, but more because it's hard and…

Should've made that last one a protein beer.

According to my research, they will end up stripping to superfreak in a children's beauty pagent.
-
I ended up having to give up beer altogether (wwwaaaahhhhh), since I always end up drinking way too many calories. A glass of wine, or a conscientiously mixed drink have never been a problem for me, though, as long as they fit within my goal for the day!

Reading that, it sounds more like you might be depressed, rather than just your average lack-of-willpower post. It sounds like you're suffering from a general lack of motivation in many areas of your personal life, and food is just a part of it. Many people think depression means you are sad, but that's not necessarily…

Nutritional Yeast! I never thought to log it before, and just learned today that it has tons of calories. I like sprinkling it on top of things, but may have to reign it in from now on, haha.

This article is fairly long, but a good read. Im interested in what people think of it. It sounds a little condescending, but I can also see where she's coming from (a frustrated and discouraged surgeon's point of view). http://www.themonthly.com.au/issue/2013/march/1361848247/karen-hitchcock/fat-city An excerpt: The…

Sounds like you lost a whole person physically AND mentally. Awesome job turning your life into what you want it to be. Very inspiring!!

You came to the right place! Awesome job turning to MFP instead of the cookie jar :) Unhappiness definitely washes over everyone sometimes, and there's not much to do other than wait it out. Or distract yourself with a good book and some tea, and you'll be proud of yourself for that when you go to bed :)

I had back surgery a few years ago, and began my swimming career. As someone who never went into the pool, other than to lounge around with a floaty toy as a child, I have to admit I was always SO happy to be swimming with anyone who didn't look like an olympian (I went to Michigan, Michael Phelps swam in the pools). Id…

I had a herniated disc about five years ago, that ended in needing to get surgery (my left leg had lost all feeling/function from the compression). After that I took up swimming and bikram yoga, and have recently gotten into running. Yoga is the BEST, keeps your core muscles strong enough to support your back. It was…
