Awesome! I hope you still have the frog-o-sphere, that sounds pretty cool :D

You're in a third world country where you can have burgers delivered to your house?
-
Your body has to do less work (burn fewer calories) to maintain itself the less you weigh. If you walk a mile at 400 lbs you will burn WAY more than if you walk a mile at 130 lbs. So, the less you weigh, the harder it is to burn off those calories.

Amazing job!!! You look super healthy and happy :D

I've never had a large amount of weight to lose, but in undergrad I started having slight back pain that got worse and worse, moved down my leg, and eventually cut off all sensation/function to that leg. I was doing physical therapy, eating well, and basically doing everything I could to keep it from getting worse, but I…

Get up early (even though Im in grad school and nobody cares when i show up at the office, so it takes extra motivation on my part!), grind/french press some coffee, eat some yogurt and granola, and read Game of Thrones on my 30 min bus ride to campus! When it's sunny, lovely view of the mountains over the strait.. oh, and…

I literally just copied the same link to post, about the gummie bears. For when you build up a tolerance for Atkins bars :)

Im 5"4, would like to go from my current size 9, back to a size 6!
-
Exact same situation for me!! Im putting up a link-I just started a blog. Not sure if anyone will read it, but I like writing it, haha :)
-
5"4, I weighed 125 for a few years while working a super active job, and felt awesome. Ill be happy in the low 130's though :) Im between 140-143 right now, and feel more...squishy than I want to.

Oh noooo, I binge watched Secret Eaters, now Ill be losing a good chunk of my life to this. Thats a good idea, though, gyms should do that :) Have members switch diets for a week or so.
-
I have a giant poster on my fridge where I put stickers if I dont drink anything, go to the gym, and/or dont go over my calorie goal. So...anyone who comes into my kitchen knows! I dont talk about it other than that, though :)

Re: itty titties, Ive never really had much in the way of boobs, but at my highest (150) they were grab-able. Now they're back to their small selves. My bf may complain, but I'd rather have the boobs and the love handles all just go away, in return for healthy habits :P
-
I tried a bunch of different machines today at the gym, that I've never tried before! Im sure I looked silly trying to figure them all out, but whatever :D

Hamburger Buns! Unless I make them myself. At restaurants/barbeques/home meals/etc. they're just never very good, and burgers taste basically the same without them. Same with tacos and burritos...having the fillings on lettuce tastes pretty much the same to me :) Oh, and I find myself just eating the toppings off of…

60 min on the elliptical, listening to podcasts :) I didn't feel like going to the gym, but ended up being just as enjoyable as usual!

I went to bikram on a regular basis for about 6 months, but the classes get REALLY repetitive, and work the exact same muscles/joints every time. I was lucky enough to move to a city that has a studio which does Bikram style classes (90 min, same poses, w a couple replacements, Im assuming for reasons having to do w not…

My siblings and I get matching fleece pajamas every year, so thats what Ill be wearing! Haha.

The arm band sounds fun! You look like a totally new person :)
-
Lets see if I can get the photo to work :) Ive got a huge board on my freezer with spaces for weekly weigh-ins, different stickers for no alcohol, doing yoga, doing other workouts, and eating under my calorie goal. It's so much fun, and its a bit more covered in stickers right now than in the photo. I just finished up…

Awesome job, inspiring post!!! I have fond memories of the Cedar Point "stocks" from many a middle school field trip, haha.

A day late! Oh well. SW=150 CW=142.8 I found out that the gym near my house is only $2 for students, so I have been using an elliptical pretty much every day, and really enjoying it! Yoga is going well, and Ive cut out beer and wine which seems to be making a big difference :) I feel like Im really committing to a new…

If you rarely drink Sake, it will make you feel extra hungry even if you only had a little. Your body is probably crashing from the Sake's sugar content. If a person drinks too much at one time, their body can't metabolize nutrients properly, but I doubt one glass would be the culprit for that here!

Im on track to lose 12ish pounds by christmas! Id be happy to join the group anyways :D Maybe those three extra will come off as well, who knows.
-
If you start tomorrow, this is the worst you will ever have to feel. Commit to it, make yourself a calendar or a plan, anything that makes it "official," to stop the cycle. You may look the same and weigh the same for a while, but you'll be proud of yourself :) Rather than angry.
-
Me too! Im signed up for a couple 10 k's between now and then, and have a high school reunion to go to over Xmas break. Definitely in a good place to start training to get my times down, and tone up a bit before going home! Im aiming for about 10 lbs (one/week for the next couple months). LETS DO IT!!
-
Once/month for me! Now that it's not an "option" for casual dinners or hanging out anymore, I don't even think about it, and I consume WAY fewer calories. I would never give it (or wine) up for holidays or special occasions though, that just seems cruel :)
-
I can confirm that drinking beer will also cause weight gain.

Im walking 90 minutes to campus with my puppy because I can't think of a good reason to leave him alone while I take the bus! And then another 90 min home. All the walking, just to pick up some assignments to grade. Then off to hot yoga, which is another 30 minute walk each way! I hope that counts as enough exercise for…
