Same thing happened to me and my dermatologist recommended aloe. Not the kind you buy at the drugstore, but the actual gel from inside the plant. I have used it for about two months now, and my skin is flawless. I wash with Dove soap, and then dab on the gel all over, in place of moisturizer. My skin feels hydrated and no…

This. Took the words right out of my mouth. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and KNOW you deserve better. Losing $100? Forget about it! You're wasting gas money and your valuable time on this piece of work. Don't tell her you don't want to talk to her...just DON'T talk to her! Don't pick up the phone, don't answer the…

Everyone else has said pretty much everything I wanted to say, so I'm going to leave you with this. A few months ago, having already lost 9 lbs, feeling great, and having had a very healthy & calorie-conscious day, I scarfed down a WHOLE Entenmann's Louisiana Crunch Cake. A whole one. At 1am. That's 2970 calories...in one…

Thanks! Just keep it up, it will work. If you need to chat, I'm here. Just add me. :)

This is so on point! Glad to hear things are getting better, though.

Please don't give up yet. In those two weeks you lost 3lbs. Granted, you gained them back, but that might just be because it is that time of the month. I personally start retaining water a week before it even begins, so I know to stay away from the scale around that time because I also end up upset. Keep going, open up…

Mine is open, good or horribly bad. Add me. :)

Hi all. I'm Nicole, 31, mother to three wonderful boys, and a full time worker/student. After a recent health scare, I have been trying to lose weight and get healthy. It's been going really well so far, but I am noticing I am losing motivation and the emotional eating is creeping its way back in. I am already down 41lbs…

Hi everyone! My name is Nicole and I will be 32 next month. I work, go to school full-time, am a mom to three boys, and wife to a pretty lucky guy. :) This means I rarely have time to work out, but this sounds perfect and the boys can come with me. I weigh 165lbs, down from 205 in January. My goal is 135lbs, but I'd like…

These all look so good!! : My favorite is pretty simple and tastes like one of the slushies I loved during childhood. 1 cup frozen mango 1-2 cups frozen strawberries 1 cup coconut water 1 cup kale 1/2 cup spinach (optional) water if it's a little too thick for your taste I blend everything in the nutribullet. This makes…

Or maybe use vanilla unsweetened almond milk instead of yogurt. The frozen fruit will still make it thick enough so that they won't miss it, and it's nutritious.
-
I would swap out the milk for some coconut water, which also adds sweetness so you don't have to use as much honey. If it is still too thick, just use a little less yogurt.

Thanks for this!! Looks like something I can definitely do in the little time I have to myself.

Welcome to MFP!! Although I have never had to use insulin, I do have a medical condition (intracranial hypertension) that has greatly improved, thanks to dieting and the support I get here. Good luck!

Count me in!! I have 35 left to reach my goal, but I wouldn't mind 5 more. :)

Thank you all for your replies! We have such similar stories. I have a great feeling about this, and have added all of you. I'm glad to have found a place where there are no judgments and put-downs, just people honestly wanting to help each other through what I consider to be one of the toughest things I have personally…

Hi! I'm 5'2", 31, 196lbs. Today is my first day here (after many years of failed diets and general laziness) so I don't really know what I'm doing, but I'm hoping it works for us all! Right now I'm just exercising at home using videos but I want to start running too. Short term goal is 165, with 135 being the long term.…
