No matter how slow you are going, you are still lapping everyone on the couch. Look in the mirror - that is your competition. Turn a setback into a comeback. Train like beast, look like beauty. Just some of my favs I have on post-it notes on the corkboard in my kitchen.

It's taken about two and a half years, but I just changed things slowly. One step at a time ???? also, started with walking then got into different forms of cardio and yoga. Now I'm kick boxing, running 3-5 miles at a time, yoga, Pilates, cross training... I love it! I also eat about 80% organic.

I would recommended looking on YouTube. There are SO many great exercise ideas and programs that are free to learn from. Also, if you have Netflix View-Instant there are a lot on there also. I have been looking around on my Netflix account and have found some really great ones :o)

Thanks so much for the info guys! I am glad to know that what I am doing is okay. So many people have been telling me that working out late does not burn as much working out in the morning. But I am SO not a morning person :o)

The best compliment I have received so far is when I saw my brother for the first time in 3 weeks and he said, "Holy s*** Shell, you are tiny!" I may not be tiny, but it is good to know my 45 lbs lost is showing :o) TOTALLY made my day! I am half-way to my goal and things like that keep me motivated.

I have a Cocker/Springer mix named Lucky who is 11, a Lab/Pit mix named Bella who just turned 2, and a cat who thinks he is a dog named Simba who is 10. Love them all, and glad that walking them is a lot easier now that I am loosing weight.

Just Dance 2 is by far my favorite!! You will burn calories and have fun doing so! I also like the Wii Fit Plus, though unless you are doing the run or steps, you do not get much of a cardio. But it does help with your balance. It is also a lot of fun.

I love oatmeal, I use it as a filler food. I put raisins, cut apples, cranberries, almond shavings, sometimes I use just one, or sometimes I mix them together :o)
