Well, I am not exactly sure however I know that alot of people drink some type of Protein Shake afterward. I drink 100% whey protien, which I think is about 27g in one serving.

Elid - thanks for taking the time to help me out!!! Very appreciated :)

I believe this is what I have done after reading posts. I have been on the "Ideal Protein" diet and it supports Ketosis, however it is not working for me at all and I would much rather be healthy than starve and hurt my insulin/glucose balance and of course my metabolism - now and for the future. I just don't know what…

Thanks for replying to my post! I am going to do that, and will try healthy protein rich food. Any suggestions? I am trying to keep my carbs down.

The EXACT thing happened to me and I have decided to weigh one time per week, up my water, up my sleep and continue on my low carb high protein diet and keep exercising. I am just going to wait it out for a few more weeks to see how my body adjusts to a consistent change. Good luck - and don't lose sight of your goal :) OH…

Your post made me giggle! We had a little boy, named Rafe (old German/English name) and whilst looking for a name, found out that some people are even putting the @ sign in names and what not! Crazy times people - crazy times :)

Luke Sydney, Marshall Brewer and Rafe Daniel (Rafe is pronounced just as it is spelled)

Well, I don't know really - but I have 3 protein shakes per day. It helps me to get in my calories and protein. I have a really tough time eating even 1200 calories, mostly because I am eating mostly veggies and protein. It was recommended by my Chiropractor.

I did P90x (Lean version) and it is tough to start but if you do a little each day you will be amazed by how much easier it gets - literally week by week. At first - daunting BUT just do what you can. You will feel stronger the first week, stand taller and...be a little sore (mine sorest workout was after I did Legs for…

I am always over by alot.

Boom Boom Pow by Black Eyed Peas and ohhh...probably another one by them too :)

Thankyou thankyou thankyou! But even more so, I am so incredibly happy for you - what an achievement. And - btw...I thought you looked beautiful on your wedding day. Congrats!

Thank you soooo much for taking the time to reply. I am certain that I am doing exactly what has been posted, so I will just keep focused and eat well and excercise. I will see in a week or two if I am experiencing the same result and then change things up. Thinking of maybe eating more often (mini meals) and getting…

In your opinion, does it matter how the calories are split up? For instance, I eat more protein than mfp calls for and not as many carbs. Will that make a difference?
-
I think the calories are for each separate day hon.

Palates always feels like it is easy - to me anyway. I used to say that it wasn't a work out at all, but it really is, so don't stop doing it. You have already lost 14lbs and that is awesome! Just keep that goal in mind and you will get there, you will feel like you again, you just need to remember that tomorrow is a new…

Well, I have been struggling also, but my weight has been like a yoyo. 2 days ago I was 157.5 and today I was 162. I think that you just cant give up and beyond the weight loss, need to think that it is truly about being a better, healthier you and then you wont feel so much pressure to see the loss. Dont get me wrong - I…

thanks so much for all of the feedback - definitely going to up my intake :)

No, I think more protein is good - as long as it is lean. Mine is always over and my carbs and fat are under - but hey, I haven't lost anything yet (just started) but I think you are doing good!
-
Hey there! I am pretty new here too - only a couple of days, so I am in for the long haul also, but really enjoying this site and meeting some really great people. Add me as a friend - I need motivation too :)
-
Thanks everyone! Thinking I need to reconsider this diet for sure.

Well, my actual calories as per the Ideal Protein Diet, add up to about 700 or so, and it shows on here that I am supposed to atleast be eating 1200. It is a high protein, low carb diet. So many people have been losing alot of weight on it and I am just wondering how - if - the body will go into starvation mode UNLESS I am…

I love the program and did it for one month and unfortunately fell off the wagon!!! It is a very intense workout, but really builds your posture and strength and you will notice the difference immediately. The reason i am not continuing it is because I need more of a cardio workout to burn some of this post baby butter off…

Yep! Count me in :)

Hi Sara, My name is Rebecca andnthis is my first day on here also. I too have a 9mth old and although I have lost some weight since he was born back in March, I still have quite a bit to lose! I started Ideal Protein a few days ago and I fell as if I am starving. Not fun - may not last so long. Anyway, great job on the gym…
