I sneak snacks in all the time (shame on me)...I tend to bring things like a pre popped bag of 100 calorie popcorn or some fiber plus, cinnamon oat crunch cereal. I also bring bottled Dasani, because that is the brand they sell at the theater I usually go to

This is not accurate. They are SOMETIMES made in the same factory; not always. They rarely look the same. The fillers and colorings vary greatly. This link is from the FDA website and it details information about generics. It has been my experience though that as far as generic adderall, it works as well as brand. My son…

Aww, thanks so much! :) I work hard at it every day. Sometimes it's a struggle and I feel like I'm going to backslide and go back to my old ways...it's then I have to dig deep and remember where I once was!

I know she isn't ready yet as much as I wish she was. I have showed her MFP and even my before and after pics to try and encourage her. I wouldn't have even done that had she not asked me for help. That is what's soo frustrating! I want to help her but she doesn't want and/or isn't ready for the help. Why try to sabotage…

What she said...

This is too fricking funny! I can't believe they actually deleted the original!?! Wtf?

Had to answer this one...I work weekend nights at a surgical center and we rarely have many (or any) patients. The possibilities are endless! My mind wanders frequently when I'm bored (which I frequently am) :p

My oldest son and I made a Tardis this summer and my youngest (5 year old) was the "doctor" for Halloween! He has a sonic screwdriver that lights up and makes sounds :)

I LOVE all of the Legend of Zelda games! I can't wait until Skyward Sword comes out :) Oh and it drives me insane when my son plays...if he gets stuck he cheats! Takes ALL the fun out of it...

With my kiddos home for the summer I am limited to an hour and a half at the gym. Some (most) days I want to do more! Not quite a "bad" feeling, but once I start really working up a sweat I wanna keep going! For me working out is like crack...I NEED it to get me through the day. If I have to miss a workout I just don't…

I am 5'7" and weigh 124-126 and currently wear anywhere from a 0-4 in bottoms depending on the brand. S-M in tops (due to my chest size)

Awww thanks so much! :) You can do it! I believe anyone can change their body with hard work and dedication!

Ooops missed the part about it only having been 8 months...it took 9 months to grow that baby, it just takes time to get back in shape. Give yourself a break and don't stress too much. You can do this! :)

At my heaviest (pregnant) I was >250 pounds (I stopped looking after that) I am now 124-126. I do have some stretch marks my tummy is not nearly taught, but it is flat and until I can afford a tummy tuck its what I got. I also should mention that I had 4 c-sections and that damned scar makes like an indention, but again…

In my own humble opinion I think that #6 is the biggest factor sabotaging peoples weight loss efforts. It is soooo easy to "forget" about the coffee creamer or the after dinner mint or the "couple" of your kids fries...if you eat it log it!! :)

I deal with this at home AND at work. My (now ex) fiancee constantly brings home junk food. It is constantly in my face. I do my best to make healthy choices for myself and my children and he routinely cooks gluttonous dinners, brings home donuts, chips, and fast food. Recently he went to a local restaurant for take out…

My aunt had Roux-en-y gastric bypass about 7 years ago. She lost 145 pounds over the course of the first year. The next year she had a circumferetial body lift, breast lift, and brachioplasty. Currently she weighs more that she did before her surgery. She ate small frequent high calorie foods until she slowly, but surely…

I don't think since I've been on this site, that I've ever seen and uglier response! We are here to support and motivate each other. We aren't here to judge and criticize! Actually this whole thread is pretty negative. There are much nicer ways to say things to people.

Without going into all the detail, I have gone through an EXTREME amount of stressful events in my personal life over the last 3 years. I found that focusing on my diet and losing weight actually helped with it. To this day, the gym is my xanax! I take it all to the gym and leave it there.

Not sure how I missed this post, but that is so great! This man cannot be stopped :)

I have recently started doing them too. The first one I can hold for a full minute and then 30 seconds on each side and the second round its just however long I can hold it. Read in a magazine today that a strong core can do a full 2 minutes so thats my goal! :)

Before I got my heart rate monitor, I would put my weight as 10-15lbs less than what I actually weigh on the cardio machine. That way I could play it safe with my calories :)
