  • Well there ya go! Love it :)
  • Through my own personal weight loss experiences I found that doing cardio only resulted in a smaller version of my lumpy self. I didn't actually change my shape until I added weights <not an expert in fitness, but I've lost a small person in my lifetime! (once weighed over 250lbs)
  • That is awesome! What a change! You look so much younger in the second pic :)
  • I am 5'7" 130lbs I wear a size 2 or 4 depending on the brand, more often a 2. The exception is the Loft. I wear a 0 there (they are all about vanity sizing)
  • 36 years old. Mom of 4. In the best shape of my life! :)
  • I am from Louisiana and I do not live anywhere near a bayou, I am actually quite intelligent and am not now, nor have I ever married a cousin...I do however use the word y'all frequently, love crawfish and make a mean gumbo
  • I LOVE Hello Kitty! She and I are the same age
  • After you have lost the weight and are ready to add muscle you have to eat over your maintenance. You cannot build muscle mass in a calorie deficit. You "bulk" by eating more, but clean. You will put on some fat, but if you eat clean more will be muscle. You have to train hard and lift heavy with minimal cardio. Once you…
  • Currently I am at 1700 calories a day (1800 on leg days). I am trying to create a deficit so I can be a little naughty in Vegas in a couple of weeks. A friend of mine who actually got me into weights (thanks Steph you rock!) has a blog... http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/stephanielynn76/view/cutting-x4wks-with-pics-220761…
  • I have four children. Two girls and two boys. Meagan 15 (16 in March), Taylor 14, Caleb 11 and Wyatt 6. <loves of my life! :)
  • Journey "Don't stop believin' " ! I sing it super loud in the car. Lifts my spirits every time :)
  • I worked at a steakhouse when I was younger. One of my tables one night was a teenage guy with his girlfriend. He ordered prime rib. When I brought his steak he pitches a fit and says "where are my ribs?". I say you ordered the prime rib which is a steak, not ribs...he turns beet red and then spent the rest of the time…
  • I had the same problem. A 4oz chicken breast has 25 grams of protein, so they are my new friends. I also have one or two protein shakes a day. I also found these cool things called whey crisps that you can add to pretty much anything. I put them in my Greek yogurt, oatmeal, peanut butter sandwiches etc. I see you say you…
  • Friday night martinis! Looking forward to them right now :)
  • Hard to resist a nice smile with dimples...also love nice butt and strong arms ;)
  • Randomly feeling the urge to spout out, "there's a party in my tummy, so yummy, so yummy" Feeling secretly anxious to see the new Dragonball Z episode Fighting the urge to bust out laughing when my 3 year old walked into his older sisters room and yelled "what the hell is going on in here?" oh, and my favorite bandaids are…
  • I mix mine with almond milk :) and she's talking about Pb2 guys...its powdered peanut butter
  • My thoughts would be to just go on maintenance and log all foods. I would pay special attention to the types of food I ate ie. up the amounts of fresh fruits and veggies and also protein to encourage healing :) I'm not a nutritionist, but I am a nurse. While a hysterectomy is no walk in the park, I would not think it…
  • 250 pounds 6 months pregnant and then I stopped looking
  • I can totally understand that feeling! My ex constantly kept junk food in the house and regularly whipped up rich, fatty dishes. It was very difficult resisting. Some of the things I did were stay busy in the house ie. wash clothes, sweep...brush my teeth often (who wants to eat brownies with mint mouth)...drink lots of…
  • Way to go! I can still "see" those words written on my chart at the doctors office from many years ago..."obese white female". I was devastated and vowed to lose the weight and never look back! I have had ups and downs since then, but I have never been that heavy again. Congrats again and here's to meeting all of your…
  • I don't proclaim myself a doctor or a nutrition expert, but the general jist I have gotten from my research is that 1-1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight is a good amount when you are trying to build muscle. As long as your kidneys are functioning properly and you take in plenty of fluids (water) you should be…
  • I totally agree with this...I would like to add a quote that a friend said recently "the best exercise is the one you aren't doing" meaning switch it up! :)
  • I was honest on my profile too. I want to look great nude! I would also love to feel like I can prance around with careless abandon in the buff...bend over without stuff hanging down, jump up and down and look sexy instead of gross and looking waaay hotter than my ex is SWEET!
  • Pooping your brains out will not make you lose weight. Calories in vs calories out is the only way to permanently lose weight. Eat less (but not too little) and move more. The end. Sorry if that sounds mean but I tend to go toward the tough love approach. Slow and steady wins in the end. Quick fixes will just leave you…
  • Not to name names or point fingers, but lots of incorrect info here (and ROTF LMAO stuff). I would save my money to put toward some healthy eats or a good pair of tennis shoes :) From the Alli website...alli blocks 25% of the fat you eat from being absorbed, and the fat that isn't absorbed is harmlessly passed through your…
  • Since I met my weight loss goal I only weigh in every couple of weeks, but during I weighed weekly. I was very anal about it being consistant...It had to be nude, first thing in the morning, after I did my bathroom business and (sorry if TMI) I would wait to weight if it had been more than 2 days since I…
  • Its a win, win then! Save on calories and $$$!
