  • I'm 5"2 and 126 pounds - I eat 1200 calories/day and typically eat back half of my exercise calories
  • I've cut it out (almost) completely. I still grab a diet at a restaurants, etc but I completely eliminated it from my apartment. I noticed that I mainly crave the "bubbles" rather than the soda itself. I've switched to Glaceu's "Fruit Water" ... SO good! I don't even miss the soda in the house anymore!
  • Mine is definitely gluten related. I look 5 months pregnant after I eat ANYTHING with gluten in it. Since it is only an intolerance and the only issue is the swelling of my stomach it's easy to slip up every once in a while. It's an ongoing joke at work because everyone can always tell when I've had something with gluten…
  • From what I can see by looking at your diary there are a lot of sugars and processed foods in your diet. For example - frozen meals include additional sugars + a (TON) of sodium which is in no way beneficial for your body. What has really helped me is thinking food as FUEL for your body because that's what it is! I still…
  • I'm comfortable at seeing less than 1200 calories a day. I eat when I'm hungry and log that way. If at the end of the day I'm below my 1200 calorie mark I don't eat just for the sake of eating. It's different for everyone!
  • I'm 5'2 and just started MFP not too long ago not to loose weight, but to actually make sure that I'm eating enough throughout the day. That being said, I have been eating less than 1200 calories for over a year and my body never went into "starvation mode" ... I have maintained my weight, but I also wasn't working out as…
  • I am absolutely hooked on the Fruitare Bars. They are only 60cals and SO GOOD! Tons of flavors as well. I prefer eating bars vs out of a carton simply because it is already portioned and I don't feel like I need to go back for more. Once it's done, it's done!
  • Your brain plays tricks on you. I personally don't weigh myself - which is why I'm showing 0lbs lost on MFP. I'd rather SEE the results in the mirror or by my clothes fitting a bit looser. I've found that I compare what I see in the mirror to the number on the scale far too much and it causes me to rethink a lot of things.…
  • I have always struggled with eating ENOUGH throughout the day ... I work in a fast paced environment, and got in the habit of only eating a couple times of day. I'm a sipper, as in I typically drank most of my calories in empty calories. My problem is eating 1200 calories a day ... I feel like I'm overeating, but I'm…
